University in 1949.
∗ When he graduated, he took a choice for post-
doctoral in Kansas.
∗ 1953, he started to teach in Stanford´s University
∗ He received a price for his contributions sciences,
1980.
Biography
It defines like a human behavior is
reached by observation of replies
that other subjects are doing, after
that subjects try to repeat these
actions.
THEORY OF SOCIAL LEARNING
It is a reproduction of an action which subject makes
because other one has made it.
Elements of observational learning:
∗Cognitive learning
∗It has to have model´s behavior
∗It´s not necessary to do the action
Observational Learning
∗ Attention
∗ Retention
∗ Reproduction
∗ Motivation
Factors of observational learning
∗ Subject has to take the main characteristics from
model
∗ Subject must pay attention the model’s actions
Attention
∗ It is produced in the memory
∗ It is authentic learning process
∗ New knowledge is connected to last knowledge
Retention
∗ Subject watches the model and then subject makes
the action that model has done it
∗ Subject has to have some skills to do the action
Reproduction
∗ If you are motivated, you will carry out the reply of
the model.
∗ It will be easier make the action
∗ The motivation could be give it from other subject or
myself
