APPENDIX – RESEARCH PROJECTS
NON-DEGREE RESEARCH PROJECTS
As an employee with Petrobrás Company, I participated in more than 50 projects of
characterization of the slope and deep ocean floor using piston cores, 3D seismic and high resolution
seismic (sonar), aiming to recognize the recent submarine sedimentation of the Brazilian passive margin
and potential geohazards for the submarine infrastructure of oil rigs and pipes. Also, I participated in a
multi-scale study (microscopic to regional) to help to understand the petroleum systems of the Maceio
Formation (Albian-Barremian).
With Glass Earth New Zealand Gold Company I participated in several gold exploration projects
in alluvial depositional systems, including geological mapping of Neogene and Quaternary sequences and
characterization of 12 main gold alluvial prospects, indicating size, grade, volume, geometry and estimated
production of the ore bodies.
