Objective:
• As an early career Geoscientist has already built a strong base throughout my
education and more than 8 years of work experience, I’d like to build up on
that and continue to expand my experience in a suitable work environment.
Summary of qualification:
• More than 8 years experience in exploration Geoscience.
• Experience was obtained from working in different projects in The Western
Desert of Egypt with Merlon El-Fayum and Petrosilah Companies.
• Applying the updated technology used to explore and develop the oil fields.
• Strong geology background through the Bachelor.
Educational Background:
• B. Sc in Geology, Department of Geology, Mansoura University.
• Graduation year :2007
- Cumulative Degree: Good.
Current Job:
• Section Head Geoscientist.
Work Experience:
• Exploration Geologist at Petrosilah Company from June 2014 till now.
- Sharing in evaluation of new frontiers areas and generation of new
prospects.
- Working as Exploration Geoscientist on data sets from Egypt, Western
Desert in El-Fayum Area and succeed to determine the mature sub
basins and troughs with the evidence of migration pathways and
hydrocarbon entrapments (10 new prospects).
• Development Geologist at Petrosilah Company from January 2013 to May
2014.
- Structural & Facies Modeling (Static Model) using Petrel software.
- Volume Calculation using different methods like 3D modeling,
Deterministic and probabilistic.
- Locate new wells to drain the Hydrocarbon from the whole reservoir
and increase the productivity.
- Designing and executing logging programs (types of logs & intervals)
for specific exploration activities in order to gather appropriate and high
quality data ready for analysis.
- Supervising wire-line logging, LWD and other petrophysical data
acquisition to ensure the safe and smooth operation and quality of data
production.
1
2. - Choosing the pressure points and side wall core points to get more
information about the reservoir.
- Identifying Oil or Gas zones and define which zone is interested and
can be perforated to produce Oil or Gas or not also Proposing target
zone for new well drilling.
• Operation Geologist at Petrosilah Company from January 2011 to December
2013.
- Following up the field operations from the office.
- Mentoring and supervision of wellsite Geologists.
- Confirming the formation tops that have been put by the wellsite
geologist.
- Correlating the reservoir pressure readings for each reservoir to know if
there is any communication between the wells or not.
- Doing the composite log and the final geological Report at TD for each
drilled well compiling all drilling, geological, logging and petrophysical
data for each drilled well.
- Attending tenders meetings.
- Doing scout, monthly and annual reports.
- Attending scout meetings & general assembly meetings.
- Well Site geologist at onshore rigs.
• Junior Geologist at Merlon El-Fayum Company from March 2008 to
December 2011.
- As Well Site geologist on land rigs.
- Doing the Petrophysical evaluation for all drilled wells using IP
software.
- Demonstrated experiences with databases and data manipulation.
Courses:
• Advanced Structural Geology at OGS (May 2016, Cairo):
- Understanding of rock deformation processes that are appropriate for
planning exploration strategies and for developing better interpretations
of existing data. The course emphasizes the role of structural geology in
controlling fluid flows in the subsurface.
• Practical Application of Siliciclastic and Carbonate Sedimentology and
Facies Analysis with EREX, (May 2014):
- Understanding the rock type(s) and their depositional systems.
- Delineation of the main parameters that control the reservoir continuity
and quality.
- Understanding of the advanced techniques and applications in reservoir
analysis using seismic and sequence stratigraphic concept with concise
reference of the Wireline logs response correlation and interpretation.
• Petrel software with Schlumberger (Jan 2014, Nov 2013, July 2013, Cairo):
- Petrel introduction G&G, Seismic visualization and interpretation,
Structural modeling, Applied well correlation, Mapping and geological
workflow and Property Modeling.
• Basin Analysis at OGS (December 2011, Cairo):
- It covers the key aspects of basin analysis, subsequent basin and
petroleum systems modeling from input to output. It also covers risks
and uncertainties influence our understanding of the petroleum systems
within a basin and how we can quantify those uncertainties.
