1. Aladdin and Ali Baba similarities

Ali Baba and Aladdin have a lot of similarities and
differences. I’m comparing Ali Baba and Aladdin
because they both have potential. We watched the
movie and read the book. Now here it is.
Some similarities are that they both have
tricksters. Morgiana and Aladdin. Also there both
Arabian stories based at night. Aladdin and Ali Baba
both have “Al” in the beginning of there name.
There both based in Arabia in a sandy desert.
Instead of stores or super markets they have market
stands. In both stories they have a rich snobby guy.
In Ali Baba it was Ali’s Brother. In Aladdin it was the
prince who wanted to marry the princess in the
beginning
They also have a cave with gold and treasure. Ali
Baba and the 40 thieves it has 40 thieves. In Aladdin
they also have 40 thieves when the genie pops out.
At the end Morgiana and the son of Ali Baba get
married. In Aladdin, Aladdin and Jasmine get
married, not at the end though.
Now some differences. One in Ali Baba they have
donkeys. In Aladdin they have camels. Also in
Aladdin they have talking parrots and a
princess. Ali Baba had a rock cave while
Aladdin had a sand cave full of treasure.

2. Ali Baba’s brother dies in Ali Baba. But in Aladdin
no one dies its kid friendly. Ali Baba is violent.
In the whole movie Aladdin they break into
song but in Ali Baba it’s text, with a couple
pictures. Aladdin is a Major motion picture.
The main characters in both stories are different.
One is young; one is old. Lots of differences you
see.
Both Aladdin and Ali Baba are wonderful stories.
They both tell a story from the same place but a
different tale or story line. I’m going to ask you
one thing; which story do you like better?
