1. Beforeheading
forschool
Parents/guardians are advised to check their
children for Covid-19 symptoms.
Do not send children to school if they have Covid-19
symptoms (fever, cough, flu, sore throat, and
breathing difficulty) or have a body temperature of
37.5 C or higher.
Take children to health screenings if they have the
symptoms.
Parents are encouraged to provide their school
going children with face masks to minimise the risk
of catching the disease.
2. On the way to
school
Observe social
distancing, especially
for children who
commute via public
transportation.
Parents are
encouraged to send
their children to
school.
3.AtSchool
Rest areas provided for school children who cycle to school to allow
their body temperature to return to normal before it is checked
-Temperatures of school children, teachers and school employees are
taken upon entering the school compound.
-Those who register a temperature reading of 37.5C or higher will be
placed in an isolation room.
-Parents must fetch their child(ren) on time during dismissal.
-School children must wash their hands or use hand sanitisers before
entering class.
-All must walk along the dedicated route to and from class.
-Outdoor activities and assemblies are prohibited.
4.InClass
Desks are arranged 1 meter apart from
each other.
-Do not share items and personnal
belongings like pencils, erasers or any
other items.
-Students must remain in their
allocated seats (the students’ name
printed and pasted on the desks) and
they must not change desks or chairs.
5.WhenGoing
to Toilet
Floors and washbasins
are marked to ensure the
1 meter social distancing
between individuals.
Soaps and hand
sanitisers are provided
in school washrooms
6.Recess
Staggered dispersal of school
children to and from canteen
to prevent overcrowding.
Foods and drinks are packed
in canteen.
Floors are marked to ensure
social distancing among
school children.
7. End of each
school session
Students will be waiting inside the hall
area with social distancing practice.
Parents need to drive through to pick up
the child at the lobby.
School children are advised to head
straight home with no stopovers.
Each student must wash their hands or
use hand sanitisers before class, during
recess and before returning home.
