This document proposes using small electric motor-driven cargo planes for transportation purposes as an alternative to traditional land transport which can be costly and cause traffic and accidents. These planes could transport goods at reasonable prices, even in developing countries with poor infrastructure, and respond quickly in disaster situations without disturbing noise. They would have interchangeable holds to carry various cargo types. A floating design would allow water landings and take-offs. Using advanced systems, the planes could take-off and land in stadiums without runways. Battery swapping at stops could extend their ranges. Existing underused local airports provide a network for them. An initial cost of $0.5 million per plane is estimated, but they require no fuel, making them more
