2. EVs & EV Charging Stations
• An electric vehicle (EV) is one that operates on an electric motor,
instead of an internal-combustion engine that generates power by
burning a mix of fuel and gases.
• EV Charging stations is an element in an infrastructure that supplies
electric energy for the recharging of EVs .

3. EV CHARGING STATIONS
• Charging Stations are inevitable part of EV ecosystem.
• With a wide road network such as of India, the country needs a
nation wide installation of charging stations to bring electric vehicles
to the country.

4. LEVELS OF CHARGING STATIONS
• Level 1 : 120v Charging.
• Level 2 : 220v/240v Charging.
• Level 3 : 480v Charging.

5. SOLAR POWERED CHARGING STATIONS
• The latest technology in this field is charging of electric vehicles with
solar power.
• Use of solar power can be quite beneficial as it is a renewable source
of energy.

6. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES
• Great for the environment in today’s situation.
• Since India has started to install charging stations, it is a great
opportunity for young entrepreneurs of India.
• Coming to its disadvantages, the initial installation is quite expensive.

7. TESLA SUPERCHARGERS
• A TESLA Supercharger is a 480v Charging Station which allows its user
to gain 75 miles of range in just five minutes.
• TESLA currently has 1636 Supercharger stations with 14,497
Superchargers.

8. CONCLUSION
• As India is a country looking for new technologies everyday, if the
country want to boost Electric Vehicles it needs to install as many
charging stations as possible.
• First we also need to remove the “RANGE ANXIETY” from the public
by installation of Electric Chargers everywhere.
