People are tired of talking heads, being told what and how to do things. We have access to information, what we need is the opportunity to make sense of our experiences, to converse, to connect and to create together. In the experience economy, every time we meet face to face is a wonderful opportunity to be delighted by discovering something new for ourselves. If you are a Manager, a Trainer, Consultant, Event Manager - knowing how to design so that people experience creating and discovering new knowledge is imperative for engagement and innovation.
Even today, to the detriment of agile success, most organizational cultures remain delivery date-driven—resulting in delivery teams that are not focused on creating value for the customer. So how can we redirect stakeholders, the business, and the project team to concentrate on delivering the greatest value rather than simply meeting dates? Pollyanna Pixton describes the tools she has used in collaboration sessions to help participants begin the process of adopting customer-centric agile methods. These tools include laying out an end-to-end customer journey, forming reusable decision filters to help prioritize backlogs, converting features into actionable user stories, and developing a solid process for making group decisions and communicating those decisions. Pollyanna shares questions that product owners and managers can use to define the problem while making sure they don't solve the problem. After all, that is the responsibility of the delivery team.

We are living in uncertain times - the COVID-19 pandemic has led to confusion and isolation for our global workforce as companies have had to turn completely to remote working. As most organizations were unprepared for this change, they are waiting for things to "get back to normal" when they can have in-person meetings and higher productivity. However, we are never going to return to normal. We may return to office working, but our approach to remote working will have changed. We need to understand now how we can maintain a strong culture when all our employees are working remotely and how we can shape our post-pandemic remote working policies. 5. President's Address
Hello!
Welcome to the AIESEC Recruitment booklet! As the president of AIESEC in
Monash, I'd like to congratulate you on the first step into the world of
purposeful leadership.
Purposeful leadership?
You may be thinking, I don't know the purpose of my life, let alone at the
right stage to develop leadership. But that's the beauty of where AIESEC will
lead you towards. You don't know the purpose of your life just YET! 80% of
the time when you feel not ready, it's just fear that's holding you back. How
can you turn that fear into action?
My journey inside has been challenging, fun, stressful but most definitely
rewarding. AIESEC gives you the opportunity to engage with what's going on
in the world today and how can you as an individual, make a positive impact.
By developing leadership through being a world citizen, solution oriented,
having self awareness and being able to empower others I've seen
individuals grow from timid first years to some of the most inspiring people I
know to date.
Going back to the concept of purposeful leadership I would like to leave you
with a few thoughts as you look through this booklet. What if I told you
leadership is no longer an official title? What if I told you leadership can be
developed in everyone? Consider the concept of everyday leadership
through everyday actions.
What kind of actions are you demonstrating everyday?
Silvia Liu
Local Committee President 2016

26. Talent Management
The Talent Management (TM) portfolio is the key driver of the
organisational culture and development at AIESEC Monash, akin to
Human Resources. As a member of the TM team, you will work towards
building and maintaining a healthy organisational culture.
You will strategise and implement support processes and events for
members, to ensure that each member is able to personalize their
leadership and self-development experiences in AIESEC, in accordance
with their different personalities, motivation levels, needs and goals. TM is
at the crux of the organisation, in that we empower and develop AIESEC’s
members, who then empower our Exchange Participants, who then
empower and impact on those they meet on exchange.

28. Finance and Governence
The Finance and Governance(FnG) portfolio overlooks the entire AIESEC
entity and supports operations by utilising financial data and operational
knowledge. Through operational consultancy and the mentoring of front
office members, we keep teams accountable for their financial
performance.
Members will ultimately be responsible for managing all accounting
systems within the organisation to facilitate the preparation of monthly
financial reports and keep accounting systems updated according to the
CPA policies and regulations. Finance members are in charge of
addressing risk management, costing and operational concerns by
proposing new alternative revenue streams and innovative investments.
Moreover, they will ensure return on investments are maximized.
