To Whom This May Concern:
This letter is to give my support and recommendation to Mr. Michael Argersinger as
an English language instructor in S. Korea.
I recently had Mr. Argersinger as a student in the CIES-TEFL certificate course at
Florida State University. The course is designed to give students a solid foundation
in English language teaching methods through instructional design of lesson plans,
study and practice of language skills, and observations of experienced teachers. The
course also ensures students are involved in various cultural exchanges and
tutoring opportunities with English language learners (ELL).
During this time, Mr. Argersinger displayed good participation in class, as well as an
intelligent mind when approaching course work, lesson plan activities, and class
discussions.
As an ELL instructor and teacher trainer for over 7 years, I can see that Mr.
Argersinger has sincere interest and passion for the ELL field and for his students.
He understands the realities of adapting to new situations and interacting with
people from different backgrounds, languages and cultures. He demonstrated this
ability while working with our ELL students at CIES, who he assisted as an English
conversation and tutor partner.
Mr. Argersinger also has a great deal of motivation and passion for learning more
about Korean culture and language. I have no doubt that his future students will
greatly benefit from his enthusiasm, instruction, and developing professionalism.
Respectfully,
