weapons.

of China, Pakistan, some
countries of Europe & Asia
also.

means with
warhead is about
5000 km, but
without warhead
is 8000 km.

of AGNI-V
AGNI-V is created to meet
current threat perceptions
and security concerns.
The threat comes from
China & Pakistan
(neighbours of India).
This AGNI-V strengthened
India’s defense system.

deterrence for peace and

security.
10. 1st
Launching
of AGNI-V
It was successfully test
fired on 19th April 2012
at 8:07 am from
Wheeler Island off the
Odisha coast.
The 1st stage takes it 35
km above, 2nd stage
pushes it about 150
km, & 3rd stages takes it
300 km above. Missile
finally reaches height
of 600 km.
