Abstract
While digital transformation initiatives begin with the goal of improving customer interactions,
each initiative introduces new, complex monitoring issues that challenge the capacity of IT
operations professionals. Leveraging cloud, analytics and virtual networking technologies, IT ops
can support digital engagement at scale, but the combination of these initiatives can
exponentially increase alert levels and introduce more monitoring blind spots. New technologies
like microservices and a faster pace of change demand new thinking and approaches that
employ the latest analytical techniques to correlate user, app and infrastructure insights into a
new, holistic view of the user experience. Join Ali Siddiqui, General Manager of Agile Operations
at CA Technologies, as he outlines how the role of IT operations is evolving and becoming more
agile to meet the needs of digital transformations.
