I’m sure we all agree that it’s an ad-mad world.The moment you’re watching
your favourite saas-bahu flick which is halted after every ten minutes for a
Twenty minute long commercial break,our mind begins to zoom with all our
desires.
As for the status conscious men,they only want to wear those classy Swiss
Bells wrist watchesand want to drive the dream car ‘Innova’ as they seem
the many Amir Khans zipping around it.
YOUNG GIRLS restrict themselves to dieting,idolizing,the slim and trim
models who advertise beauty products.The result is the lack of essential
nutrients in their growing age.In their pursuit of becoming
fairer,taller,thinnerand prettier they ignore the home made and effective
beauty tips that have been tradionally in use since ages.
Little kids now think that eating Dominoes pizzas is the ‘im’thing while
eating ‘roti-sabzi’ is out and old fashioned.
In our mad rush to fulfill our desires of having all the luxuries in the world
we trust the advertisements and indulge into unnecessary and compulsive
and dicard even the well functioning products only because they have now
become old.
I do agree that an LG Microwave, two minute magi noodles and a fully
automated Whirlpool washing machine are time saving ,but at the cost of
our pocket and our health.
Hence,we should not set TV advertisements lure us and instead we should
be aware as consumers.
