Construction of Adverts Jacob Hamblin
What is an advert?  An advert is a way to promote a business or company’s product to the public and to get their attention so that hopefully the viewers who see the advert could possibly buy their product.
Mise-en-scene Mise-en-scene is very important in advertising to make the product look more appealing in a visual way and it consists of:  Costume, what is being worn in the advert. Lighting, the style of lighting used for the advert. Acting, the way acting is used to fit different types of adverts. Make-up, make-up worn by actors to fit different moods of the advert. Props, objects to show how the product is used. Setting, different types of settings making to make it able to change the mood of the advert.= CLAMPS
How adverts attract attention    People who create the adverts also make sure they can catch the viewer’s attention, and they do this by using:    Bold titles, music, celebrities, facts and figures and images of the product being advertised.
AIDA Principle     The AIDA principle is what adverts use to get people interested in their product and try and get them to purchase it: A – Attention (Try to grab your attention by using bold titles, loud music etc) I – Interest (Try to get you interested in their product by making you want to find out more) D – Desire (Try and make you want the product by making it look desirable) A – Action (Try and make you take action in buying the product)
Chosen Advert! Shows the girl enjoying the drink  with a big smile! Asks you question to get you intrigued  Telling the viewer that they want the product
