2. What is advanSR?
• advanSR (pronounced advancer) is a fun, engaging, and rewarding
tool that helps students and their parents to enhance productive
scholastic behaviors.
• advanSR focuses on improving three areas of educational life:
• Attendance
• Extra-Curricular Activities
• Parental Engagement
• advanSR provides Motivation to Succeed.

3. Choose Student
The interface provides three branches for
different types of users in the app.

4. Introduction
Meet Ace! He’s the loveable mascot and a
protagonist in the app’s narrative. He
provides helpful information as well as words
of affirmation on the home page.

6. Locate School
Each student is assigned a school ID number,
which is required to access their account.
Once this ID has been entered, it will be
stored in the app from that point forward, so
the student will not need to remember it.

7. Enter Key Code
advanSR does not collect personal
information from students. Each student is
assigned a student ID, which is not associated
with their name. In fact, we do not collect
their name at all.

8. Enter PIN
A four digit PIN will be generated
automatically for each student, and the
teacher will control access to these
credentials. Each PIN is one time use, but the
app will keep the student logged in once they
have provided a valid ID and PIN
combination.

9. Confirm School
The student is asked to verify their school
and grade.

10. Success!
This is the confirmation screen for a
successful registration process.

We provide a quick overview on what the
students need to do to earn points in the
app.

for earning and redeeming points.

13. Home Screen
This is the hub for the app’s interface. It also
provides a different affirmation message
each time it’s loaded to keep the student
engaged and connect them with Ace.

14. Check In
Check in to events here. These events are set
up and customized in the administration
panel.

15. Enter Code
We use the same PIN interface as was used
during registration, for a student to check in
to an event. This code will be provided by the
event coordinator.

16. Check In Confirmation
This is the simple and effective action
confirmation screen which is used
throughout the app.

17. Activities
Activities are very similar to checking in to
attend school.

18. Activity Information
This intuitive activity screen provides the
student with information about an event at a
glance.

19. My Quest
Students are guided through a fun and
futuristic science fiction story in their quest
screen, with Ace and other memorable
characters. The quest combines interesting
visuals with an engaging story line to keep
kids advancing through the levels of the app.

20. My Points
In addition to the story, students earn points
which can be redeemed for prizes with the
app’s interface.

21. Prizes
Prizes can be customized as to point value, as
well as monetary value. Students redeem
prizes directly within the app with an easy-
to-use interface.

22. My Quest Menu
This menu provides an interface for
interacting with the quest content which has
already been unlocked.

23. Quest Worlds
There are five unique and engaging quest
worlds, each with its own storyline woven
together to increase the incentive to play.

24. About My Quest
This screen provides an overview of the
storyline which is presented visually in the
app’s intro cutscene.

25. Mission Logs
Users can review the mission log as it is
unlocked. The story is released as students
level up in an episodic format.

26. Mission Log
Each mission log provides character
development, as well as story progression.
Many of them also include interesting fun
facts, geared mostly toward science and
history.

27. Notifications
Notifications are presented in app and stored
in the notifications area, which is similar to
an email inbox, but the messages are kept
short, sweet and to the point.

28. My Account
Simple account screen. The information
provided here is needed to complete the
linking process with a parent account.

29. Sign Out
Below the activity log is the sign out button.
It is never necessary for a student to sign out,
but it may be useful for students who do not
have their own device as the school will have
to provide a device.
