HCI Webinar: Changing a Company Culture, One Technological Performance Module...Cornerstone OnDemand
Sometimes the best systems aren’t all in place when it comes to talent management. Processes may need improvement and people likely want more support, but a knowledge gap and lack of experience in change management blocks companies from adopting the finest practices and implementing helpful technology. Success, as seen by leaders, is achieved by doing what works best for the business. Top managers take on the constant task of determining how to make each process more efficient and improve what’s needed to maximize productivity.
This session explores the design of persona-based learning maps to support manager-employee development discussions. Employees in participating organizations are assigned a “learning persona” based on their role. Skills and learning activities are then varied based on the needs of different groups.
All the details to consider when launching an enterprise-wide employee recognition solution can seem confusing and downright overwhelming for your clients. During this session Kim, Beth and Stan demystified the process and shared secrets to ensuring a successful "go live" and setting any organization up for sustained momentum in the crucial early days.
IS IT TIME TO RESHAPE YOUR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY?Human Capital Media
Leadership development today is not delivering on board level expectations and research shows there are issues in developing leaders just-in-time and in a consistent and cost-effective way. There’s a growing need for organizations to completely rethink how they develop their leaders. This session will demonstrate how leadership development can deliver on its promise and how you can tune your LD-strategy and offer tomorrow’s needs.
The learning objectives for this interactive session are:
Understand the current state of leadership development in organizations
Explore the reasons why LD often fails today
Provide a leadership development framework to enable performance for all leader
Review key metrics and enablers for leadership development
7 pointers to building a robust shared services business caseChazey Partners
While it’s tempting to rush into Shared Services as the brainchild of senior executives, a business case will protect you from inevitable changes at the top and at the same time provide a vehicle to achieve senior level buy-in. You really can’t afford to skip this stage.
Learning and Business Impact: Making the Case through Metrics and AnalyticsHuman Capital Media
Proving the impact of a single learning investment is relatively easy. Answering the broader question of “What impact is L&D having on the business?” is hard. In this Spotlight webinar, Ericsson’s global head of learning measurement and analytics will share how he’s guiding assessment, evaluation and measurement strategies that provide data to help executives understand the impact of employee learning on business performance.
During this session, attendees will:
Identify ways that analytics is shaping learning measurement.
Describe components of a measurement map.
Identify the level of measurement maturity in their organization.
This presentation was given by Chris Galloway, General Manager for 3Cheers! with Maritz Motivation Solutions and Patrick Carpenter, VP at the Great Game of Business at the 2013 Gathering of the Games Conference. The session promotes adoption of OBM principles using recognition and carefully selected rewards. At this session, you will learn why non-cash rewards increase performance by a 3-to-1 margin over anything cash related, and will be presented with a roadmap of how to implement recognition and rewards at your company.cash rewards programs

2. INTRODUCING YOUR FACILITATORBACKGROUND
Advanced Leadership for ICT Professionals
Workshop 2016
An experienced and business savvy technology executive, Stephen
has previously worked for the New South Wales State Government,
Coffey International, and KBR, and is a widely recognised business
systems thought leader, who has helped many organisations navigate
the competing and often conflicting tensions with business systems
(and performance) reform, technology convergence and leadership
needs.
As a former CTO, CIO, Chief Operating Officer and Group Executive,
Stephen has worked and consulted widely in Australia and
internationally in both the public and private sectors. Stephen has
led corporate operations and systems divisions, developed and
implemented strategy, led business system project portfolios, led
the forensic review and recovery of troubled projects, and designed
and delivered several leadership and strategic planning courses and
seminars.
Stephen works as an executive consultant, leadership mentor and
coach, sharing insight garnered over several years with clients to
improve strategy and business systems. Using his expertise in
the business of recovering troubled projects as well as his acute
understanding of business technology needs means he can drive
performance through practical and appropriate means.
Information Technology is not only a vital underpinning for an
organisation’s success but with the convergence of business,
consumer and communication technology, is now integral to core
business operations. ICT staff must therefore be both technically
proficient and business savvy, and be capable of solving complex
business-systems and client facing problems quickly and efficiently.
Even the most accomplished ICT professional will find that technology
skills alone will not assure either effective leadership or strategic
thinking. To be a leader and add strategic value to the organisation,
ICT professionals need to complement their occupational expertise
with breakthrough leadership and coherent strategic business
planning skills.
Leading professional, high performance ICT teams to both
maintain organisational functionality and to add strategic value to
the company, requires an ability to engage with and easily convey
complex information to non-ICT executive and leadership colleagues
and clients. An ICT leader must also inculcate in their team an
understanding of their contribution to business strategy, and develop
a workplace culture conducive to innovation, and focussed on results.
This two-day Workshop will delve into strategies for driving
performance, modifying your communication style, engaging staff
and stakeholders and adding strategic value through enhanced
ICT leadership. Delegates will address their own leadership styles,
strengthen existing skills and develop new leadership techniques.

This workshop will be delivered using a three tiered approach. The
structure of each session is as follows:
1. Technical overview and review of research into the topic area
under discussion
2. Practical application of management principles in the review
of case studies, worked examples and interactive exercises
3. Discussion of outcomes and implementation issues
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to include
comments and questions about issues outlined in the program by
way of a pre-course questionnaire. This feedback will enable the
course facilitator to adjust content accordingly. The workshop has
limited places to allow for customisation, greater interactivity and
for individual concerns to be addressed.
