Free accessibility extensions are limited but can help, while proper coding and testing is ultimately needed to ensure usability for all. Accessibility should be considered from the start and built into development and review processes.

Top 7 Ways To Improve Teams And SharePoint Navigation In Your Digital WorkplaceRichard Harbridge
70% of people start their journey by navigating. It is at the very heart of an effective digital workplace. Improving the navigation experience is Intranet's number one priority, and it often is not effectively designed or implemented. The good news is that organizations employ proven designs and best practices today to overcome these challenges. Join Richard Harbridge, a Microsoft MVP and internationally recognized expert on Microsoft 365 and the Digital Workplace, as he shares insight on how to better plan, design, personalize, configure, integrate, and enhance navigation for your Intranet and Digital Workplace. This document summarizes the market forces driving the growth of online distance learning programs, including the need for universities to increase revenue, accommodate new types of students, and meet the needs of businesses. It discusses how universities are partnering with for-profit companies or developing their own online programs to expand access to education. While online learning is growing, the document notes that most current programs focus on knowledge acquisition and lack complex interactions found in face-to-face classrooms. In particular, design courses rely heavily on instructor and student interaction with artifacts. To improve online learning, barriers like faculty perceptions, costs, and technical challenges must be addressed by developing support systems for instructors and students.

MY BIG QUESTIONS…
What are the user’s goals?
What data do we have?
What data has been incorporated?
What research have we conducted?
Do we need more user research?
What are the best practices in home page design at MS and elsewhere?
Can we use this information to improve the design?
What do these pages have in common?
What differs between these pages?

• What information and tasks does the user expect to see?
• Do we need to conduct user research to better understand the
