2. THE BRIEF
Our overarching task was to refresh the Adam Phones brand and
develop its current customer facing channels, platforms and
content.
Their requirements broke down into three essential management
areas, these included:
1. Digital platform Development
2. Ongoing Maintenance
3. Responsive Communications Activity
Digital Platform Development
Adamphones.com forms a central part of much of the project
activity being a launch platform, customer resource and
management portal.
Here are some of the key features of the platform:

Ongoing Maintenance
Support was required on an on-going basis for Adam Phones due to
a lack of internal expertise. Requirements identified were quite
varied but were identified to include the following:
Website uptime/security
Data management
Hosting
Design - Campaigns/Seasonal/USP
Development - Templates/Functionality/Plugins
CMS - Version Control
Responsive Marketing Activity
Post brand update and website launch, new business generation
was seen as key goals of the business in driving; awareness, traffic,
engagement and data capture.
Based on the digital platform being developed the client wanted to
achieve the following:
Create a suite of customisable responsive HTML emarketing
templates
Unify content & brand identity across social media channels
Develop a benchmark campaign strategy for the first 6-12
months post platform launch
3. THE BENEFITS
Fully Responsive Build (RWD)
The site is fully responsive with mobile navigation that provides a
much better user navigation experience on mobiles devices and
tablets. The main benefit of the RWD is that the site is singular and
does not require a mobile version to run alongside the main site.
Full Administration
The site as been designed to take into account the client’s
requirements to administrate their site, structure and content. The
site is dynamically built, making it flexible and customisable with
the ability to adapt to the needs and behaviours of its users.
Responsive Marketing Activity
The website has a smart carousel area that is populated based on
the content being placed into it. The three agreed requirements in
the brief were a single image, customisable carousel and Vimeo
video.
Multi-functional Template Build
Due to complexity it was essential to try and streamline the build as
much as possible. To achieve these we built a single template that
could be customised into different variations giving the site a
consistent but varied look and feel across the core internal
templates.
Customer Gating Process
To make the site as approachable as possible, the use of customer
contact points has been integrated commonly throughout the site.
These all channel into a custom gating system that will allow a user
to register once on a cookie and then the system will log this along
with any activity and will allow them access to any content whilst
the cookie is still active. The system also allows blacklisting, and
custom content, page and popup content administration.
Dedicated Maintenance
All foreseeable maintenance items were secured under a dedicated
monthly allowance agreement, meaning no more headaches for the
client and their customers.
Responsive Marketing Templates
New business lead generation/conversion was identified as a key
purpose of the website to support the sales team in generating a
viable sales funnel. We worked with the client to build them a suite
of ‘Responsive eMarketing Templates’ that can be edited,
configured and sent out by the client for data protection reasons.
