Audience Targeting
What is Audience Targeting?
The patent-pending Audience Targeting feature gives you the ability to retarget
users based on their past interactions with your site.
Here’s how it works:
To learn about Audience Targeting for Publishers, continue to next slide.
To learn about Audience Targeting for Advertisers, skip to slide 10.
Audience Targeting For Publishers
To enable, disable or create new Audience Segments for your
widget(s), begin by going to your Site Widgets dashboard.
Select the gear icon to the right of your
widget to access the Settings tab.
The Build Audience Segments
field can be found under the
Advanced Options section of
your widget settings.
My Widget Users is the default
setting for all widgets on your
sites.
In the drop down box of the
Build Audience Segments
field, you have the option to
Create New Segment.
This option allows you to build a
unique audience segment for a
specific widget.
You can also choose to disable
the Audience Segments
feature.
We do not recommend
disabling Audience Segments
as this feature allows you to
re-engage users visited your
site in the past
Audience Targeting For Advertisers
To create an Audience Segment Pixel, begin by creating a new
Campaign Boost.
Your Frequency Cap is the number of
times a unique user from your selected
audience segment can see your boost in
a 24-hour period.
When setting up your
new boost, select
Audience Targeting to
generate your Audience
Segment Pixel.
My Widget Users is the
default Audience
Targeting setting for all
boosts.
Note: You can create as many
unique Audience Segment Pixels
as you like, but they will need to be
set up as separate boosts. Only one
pixel can be created per boost.
In the drop down box of
the Audience Targeting
field, you have the option
to Create New Segment.
This option allows you to
build a unique Audience
Segment Pixel for a
specific boost.
Select the Create
Segment Pixel button to
generate your pixel link.
Copy your new Audience Segment Pixel
and place the link on your site. The link can
be placed wherever you want the pixel to
be fired.
This link will work on all page types as well
as all device types.
