INTERIOR DESIGNER GALINA MAKSIMOVA recommended minimalism trend in design and architecture wherein the subject is reduced to its necessary elements. Minimalistic influenced design philosophy and Highest Technology Infrastructure in architecture.
Modern, minimalist architectural designer focus on the connection between 2 perfect planes, elegant lighting, and careful consideration of the void spaces. More attractive minimalistic home designs are not truly minimalistic, because these use most expensive building materials: concrete, natural stone, stainless steel, glass. and finishes and are larger. In minimalist architecture, interior design elements convey the message of simplicity. The basic geometric forms, elements without decoration, simple materials and the repetitions of structures represent a sense of order and essential quality. The movement of natural light in buildings reveals simple and clean spaces. High walls create the enclosed space and the stone floors used in house and courtyard show the continuality of interior and exterior. Concepts of simplicity transmit the ideas of freedom and essence of living.

Neo-futurism is a late 20th–early 21st century movement in the arts, design, and architecture. It is a departure from the cynical attitude of post-modernism and represents an idealistic belief in a better future and "a need to periodize the modern rapport with the technological".
This avant-garde movement is a futuristic rethinking of the aesthetic and functionality of rapidly growing cities.
The industrialization that began worldwide following the end of the Second World War gave wind to new streams of thought in life, art and architecture, leading to post-modernism, neo-modernism and then neo-futurism.
In the Western countries, futurist architecture evolved into Art Deco, the Googie movement and high-tech architecture, and finally into Neo-Futurism.
Neo-futuristic urbanists, architects, designers and artists believe in cities releasing emotions, driven by eco-sustainability, ethical values and implementing new materials and new technologies to provide a better quality of life for city-dwellers.
Neo-futurism has absorbed sоme оf the high-tech architecture’s themes аnd ideas, incorporating elements оf high-tech industry аnd technology іntо building design: technology and context is the focus of some architects of this movement such as Buckminster Fuller, Norman Foster, Kenzo Tange, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, Frei Otto, and Santiago Calatrava.

Landscape architecture is about catching a fleeting moment of our environment and making it legible through design. These moments, over time, reveal a process that was hidden in plain sight. This portfolio showcases my design strategies to change perception and acknowledge process based design, with each of these projects at different scales.
While landscape architecture has taught me the value of all the qualities that go into shaping our space, my education in architecture backs that up with intricate working details. My strongest skills are that of design detailing and exploring representation through mixed media.
Every project in the following pages opens me up to diverse explorations and my passion for this unknown adventure is what I hope for even in the professional realm.

ALISHA SHAKYA - Decade of Short Selected WORK PORTFOLIOAlishaShakya7
Over the past decade, my career has been a colorful tapestry of projects, spanning everything from bustling commercial hubs to cozy residential havens, and even initiatives for the government projects in Nepal. With a deep appreciation for the little details and a drive for excellence, I've poured my heart into every venture, leaving behind a legacy of impact.
In the world of commerce, I've taken on challenges ranging from designing signature design for famous restaurants in Nepal to inviting multipurpose spaces. I've danced between functionality and beauty, infusing each project with innovative designs that not only meet but surpass expectations, creating environments that fuel success.
Venturing into multipurpose spaces has been a thrilling journey of exploration, blending practicality with adaptability. From vibrant multipurpose communal gathering spaces to versatile mixed-use apartment buildings, I've woven together strategic planning and creative flair to craft spaces that bring people together, fostering connection and unity. Functions such as Miss Nepal has been conducted in one of the spaces.
In the realm of residential projects, I've had the privilege of turning dreams into reality. Whether it's breathing new life into historic homes or shaping modern abodes, I've made it my mission to marry elegance with comfort, ensuring that each dwelling reflects the unique vision and needs of its occupants. Moreover, I have conducted renovation projects.
And when it comes to government initiatives, my commitment to public service shines through. Collaborating with stakeholders and navigating through regulations, I've contributed to projects that enhance the fabric of society, from essential civic buildings to transformative urban revitalization efforts.
Throughout this decade-long odyssey, I've embraced challenges with flexibility, ingenuity, and an unwavering dedication to excellence. Each project has been a chapter in my story, fueling my passion to create spaces that not only endure but inspire and enrich the lives of those who inhabit them.

26Adaptive reuse
OBJECTIVE
To design either cultural centre or an apartment building
In a heritage building of Duarte mansion.
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
Our task was to keep the façade of the building intact. To
Choose an anchor point from where our design is to be
Evolved and to provide suitable functions on different floor
According to the circulation and needs of people.
CONCEPT
I linked the value of timeline with the given site.duarte
Mansion has Its importance in the past.present is the
Image of what we are witnessing right now and future will
Depict of what we strive in the present to make this a better
Place. Henceforth the futuristic approach of an architect is
To “go green”.
35. 29Adaptive reuse
i took simple rectangular masses and build
connection between them. these connecting points
acted as bridge in my design.i placed the structure
in the direction of wind and gave large openings so
as to incorporate wind and light more to minimize the
the excessive use of energy.fuctions like shops are
placed on the first and second floor.galleries on

36. 30Adaptive reuse
In the part b of this project a took an entrance area
Which I developed by incorporating foeyer, pergollas
Portable Exhibition stalls and landscape.my goal
was to make an entarnce more welcoming and
secondly to give a slight perception as to what I ll
be trying to show to people inside.

35Resort(mini thesis)
OBJECTIVE
To design an eco friendly tourism resort.
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
To design a luxury resort for tourist having all possible
utilities like accommodating blocks, facilitating block with
Swimming pools, gymnasium, place for sporting activities, shops
Admintrative block along with the conference room.they are
To be adjusted in a way that they could get best possible view
Of the sea.
CONCEPT
I derived my concept from the beach of manora.experience of
Of curiosity about the beach at manora is what I felt made it
Different from other beaches of karachi.hence I decided to
Incorporate this curiousity into my design.
45. 38Resort(mini thesis)
I took simple geometrical shapes and meshed it with
curvature forms. the idea behind putting the layout
in a semi circular form is to create the sense of
curiosity within the space or in other words people
will have to walk and inhale the experience of the
space. all of the major functions like cottages,
guest rooms, facilitaing blocks are placed at the
beach front, giving people extra views of the sea.
There are two cafetarias, one is situated right in the
heart of the structure, where as the other one will
roughly cater the tourists. Swimming pools for both
adults and babies are given right infront of the
cottages and guest rooms respectively.
