Since its genesis, Pinch Analysis is continuously evolving and its application is widening, reaching new horizons. The original concept of pinch approach was quite clear and, because of flexibility of this approach, innumerable applications have been developed in the industry. Consequently, a designer gets thoroughly muddled among these flexibilities. Hence, there was a need for a rigorous and robust model which could guide the optimisation engineer on deciding the applicability of the pinch approach and direct sequential step of procedure in predefined workflow, so that the precision of approach is ensured. Exploring the various options of a novice hands-on algorithm development that can be coded and interfaced with GUI and keeping in mind the difficulties faced by designers, an effort was made to formulate a new algorithm for the optimisation activity. As such, the work aims at easing out application hurdles and providing hands-on information to the Developer for use during preparation of new application tools. This paper presents a new algorithm, the application which ensures the Developer does not violate basic pinch rules. To achieve this, intermittent check gates are provided in the algorithm, which eliminate violation of predefined basic pinch rules, design philosophy, and Engineering Standards and ensure that constraints are adequately considered. On the other side, its sequential instruction to develop the pinch analysis and reiteration promises Maximum Energy Recovery (MER).

Keith Shaughnessy designed a displacement ventilation system for Valeo Vision Systems to improve occupant comfort. Displacement ventilation introduces fresh air at floor level, allowing it to rise and remove heat and contaminants. Solidworks was used to model a study area and simulate airflow. CFD analysis showed air entering at 20°C and exiting at 28°C, demonstrating displacement ventilation. The PMV scale indicated occupants would be thermally satisfied. However, a more thorough CFD analysis of the entire production area is recommended.

Heat Load Calculation with Duct Design of a Multi Storeyed Residential Building
The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning HVAC system is arguably the most complex system installed in a building and is responsible for a substantial component of the total building energy use. Maintaining optimal temperature and air circulation are the basis of a comfortable indoor environment 1 . This role is played by HVAC Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The heat load calculations along with the duct design for a HVAC system installed in a multistorey residential building is calculated and analyzed to maintain a desired temperature based on outer environmental temperature. The duct design is analyzed which create an impact on system performance. The layout of a multistorey residential building is made by using Autodesk REVIT software. A complete air conditioning system was designed along with ducts and VAV system to control the indoor environment conditions like temperature, relative humidity, air movement, etc. Based on the obtained Heat Load Calculations CFM and T.R values were found for each spaces and ducting design was done for all the spaces by considering the quantity of CFM to be supplied. A suitable air handling unit AHU is selected based on the CFM value for multi storey residential building. With this the capacity of equipment was estimated and selected for the installation. A range of CFD modeling and thermal modeling tools are included for architectural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) applications. Model radiant heat transfer and occupant comfort; better predict contaminant dispersion and smoke migration in and around buildings. Study the long-term effects of diurnal heating. The Design Study Environment allows you to automate the creation of design studies, compare critical values, and predict design performance, optimize designs, and validate behavior before construction.

Heat Load Calculation with Duct Design of a Multi Storeyed Residential Building
The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning HVAC system is arguably the most complex system installed in a building and is responsible for a substantial component of the total building energy use. Maintaining optimal temperature and air circulation are the basis of a comfortable indoor environment 1 . This role is played by HVAC Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The heat load calculations along with the duct design for a HVAC system installed in a multistorey residential building is calculated and analyzed to maintain a desired temperature based on outer environmental temperature. The duct design is analyzed which create an impact on system performance. The layout of a multistorey residential building is made by using Autodesk REVIT software. A complete air conditioning system was designed along with ducts and VAV system to control the indoor environment conditions like temperature, relative humidity, air movement, etc. Based on the obtained Heat Load Calculations CFM and T.R values were found for each spaces and ducting design was done for all the spaces by considering the quantity of CFM to be supplied. A suitable air handling unit AHU is selected based on the CFM value for multi storey residential building. With this the capacity of equipment was estimated and selected for the installation. Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
