This document proposes a tabletop interface to enhance practical knowledge among students through hands-on learning activities. It discusses the current shortcomings in practical education in Indian schools, including a lack of proper resources and time for reflection. Teachers face pressures that discourage exploratory learning and students are often exam-focused without understanding the purpose of activities. The proposed tabletop interface aims to support collaborative, activity-based learning to help address these issues by facilitating hands-on experiments and discussions in a group setting.
