The Academic Counselors Association is offering a $300 scholarship to University of Texas at Austin undergraduate students who assist with academic advising or student support services. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of at least 2.0 and submit an application consisting of personal and academic information as well as short essays addressing how they support students, how this work has impacted their experience at UT-Austin, and how they will use the scholarship to further their goals.

The Academic Counselors Association (ACA) is proud to offer $300 scholarships to University of Texas at Austin students who
support the vision and values of the academic advising community. It is the hope of ACA that these scholarships will assist
students in their academic pursuits and endeavors.
Eligibility requirements: Candidates must be undergraduate students who assist in advising or other academic student support
services and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 (to be verified by the ACA Awards and Recognition Committee).

In a statement not to exceed three typewritten pages, please address questions #1-3. Your complete application will include

3) How will you apply this scholarship to advance your academic or professional goals?
4) Please address any personal financial need that you’d like the selection committee to consider.
5) Please attach a resume or list of activities and accomplishments.
6) Submit a letter of recommendation from a staff or faculty member who is familiar with your work assisting in advising or other
student support services.
