Feature Based Underwater Fish Recognition Using SVM ClassifierIIRindia
An approach for underwater fish recognition based on wavelet transform is presented in this paper. This approach decomposes the input image into sub-bands by using the multi resolutional analysis known as Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). As each sub-band in the decomposed image contains useful information about the image, the mean values of every sub-band are assumed as features. This approach is tested on Underwater Photography - A Fish Database. The database contains 7953 pictures of 1458 different species. The database is considered for the classification based on Support Vector machine (SVM) classifier. The result shows that maximum recognition accuracy of 90.74% is achieved by the wavelet features.

A Review of Edge Detection Techniques for Image SegmentationIIRindia
Edge detection is a key stride in Image investigation. Edges characterize the limits between areas in a image, which assists with division and article acknowledgment.Edge discovery is a image preparing method for finding the limits of articles inside Image. It works by distinguishing irregular in brilliance and utilized for Image division and information extraction in zones, for example, Image preparing, PC vision and Image vision. There are likely more algorithms in a writing of upgrading and distinguishing edges than whatever other single subject. In this paper, the principle is to concentrate most usually utilized edge methods for Image segmentation.
Classification of Satellite broadcasting Image and Validation Exhausting Geom...IJSRD
Classification of Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) data from satellite images is extremely remarkable to design the thematic maps for analysis of natural resources like Forest, Agriculture, Water bodies, urban areas etc. The process of Satellite Image Classification involves grouping the pixel values into significant categories and estimating areas by counting each category pixels. Manual classification by visual interpretation technique is accurate but time consuming and requires field experts. To overcome these difficulties, the present research work investigated efficient and effective automation of satellite image classification. Automated classification approaches are broadly classified in to i) Supervised Classification ii) Unsupervised Classification iii) Object Based Classification. This paper presents classification capabilities of K-Means, Parallel Pipe and Maximum Likelihood classifiers to classify multispectral spatial data (LISS-4). Using statistical inference, classified results are validated with reference data collected from field experts. Among three, Maximum Likelihood classifier (MLC) gained a significant credit in terms of getting maximum Overall accuracy and Kappa Factor.
Land scene classification from remote sensing images using improved artificia...IJECEIAES
The images obtained from remote sensing consist of background complexities and similarities among the objects that act as challenge during the classification of land scenes. Land scenes are utilized in various fields such as agriculture, urbanization, and disaster management, to detect the condition of land surfaces and help to identify the suitability of the land surfaces for planting crops, and building construction. The existing methods help in the classification of land scenes through the images obtained from remote sensing technology, but the background complexities and presence of similar objects act as a barricade against providing better results. To overcome these issues, an improved artificial bee colony optimization algorithm with convolutional neural network (IABC-CNN) model is proposed to achieve better results in classifying the land scenes. The images are collected from aerial image dataset (AID), Northwestern Polytechnical University-Remote Sensing Image Scene 45 (NWPU-RESIS45), and University of California Merced (UCM) datasets. IABC effectively selects the best features from the extracted features using visual geometry group-16 (VGG-16). The selected features from the IABC are provided for the classification process using multiclass-support vector machine (MSVM). Results obtained from the proposed IABC-CNN achieves a better classification accuracy of 96.40% with an error rate 3.6%.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
