Jiwon McCartney founded Culinary Fight Club, a monthly live cooking competition, and Fight2Feed, a charitable organization that aims to fight hunger and reduce food waste. Fight2Feed operates a food truck that collects daily surplus from restaurants, grocers, and food banks to cook and package fresh, sustainable meals. Volunteers then distribute these meals in Chicago neighborhoods where hunger is prevalent. Since 2014, Fight2Feed has shared over 4,000 meals through its food truck missions. Its goals are to expand to other cities and operate Fight2Feed chapters nationwide to share meals on a larger scale.
