The Breast Cancer Connections (BCC) provides comprehensive and personalized services free of charge to support those affected by breast cancer. As a non-profit organization, BCC relies on volunteers who are breast cancer specialists or survivors as well as donations. BCC addresses the medical, emotional, and informational needs that overwhelm breast cancer patients and the limited time medical professionals have. BCC helped Ivon, a Latina breast cancer patient, feel empowered through education, emotional support, and connections to others who understood her experience.
