Abhinav Niketan an organization that came into existence in year 1994 with the vision of
mainstreaming the poor and downtrodden towards development and national progress
through promoting people’s organization as the key element to achieve a self-reliant
community.
Since its inception, we have continuously strived for the mission of creation of self-reliant
community by adoption of participatory approach, acquaintance with the country’s rich
tradition and heritage for getting imbibed with the spirit of using efficient use of modern
resources, provision of opportunities to the disadvantage sections of the community
for their development, creation of awareness, conscientisation of social, economic and
political incidences which have kept the rural mass poor and deprived and emphasis on
women empowerment and slum development.
As part of development strategy, Abhinav considers human being with all his facets and
adopts a comprehensive approach to the development programme. Comprehensive
approach includes adoption of a participatory approach by organizing the participants
into groups, both male and female, are the micro level planner, the smallest denominators
of the execution, monitoring and evaluation process. To be short and precise, Abhinav
prefers the role of a facilitator rather than an operator or implementer. The organization
has the objective of development of farmers, women, and unemployed youths to make
them stand on their feet and aspire of a healthy and prosperous life. The main stress of the
organization has always been generating employment oriented opportunities.

ART
		ABHINAV NIKETAN | ORGANIZATION PROFILE
RESEARCH
O
ne of most intriguing aspects about art today is its entanglement with theory.
In fact, contemporary art practice is now so highly saturated with theoretical
knowledge that it is becoming a research practice in and of itself. Artists
have not only taken up art criticism and negotiations, they now also integrate
research methods and scientific knowledge into their artistic process to such a
degree that it even seems to be developing into an independent form of knowledge on its
own. If this tendency is reinforced by the growing transfer of theoretical knowledge in the
course of restructuring art academies and establishing so-called artistic research projects,
such a blurring of the lines between art and theory could no longer live up to the classical
philosophical notion that art is ultimately a sensual form of truth.
ABHINAV NIKETAN is to develop artistic eco-system by enhancing and appropriation
of knowledge through evoking different, independent forms of knowledge, in order
to complement scientific research with artistic research. With regard to the relationship
between philosophy and art, this implies that artistic practice is more than just an application
of theory and that theory is more than a mere reflection on practice. Deleuze perceives this
unique relationship as a system of relays within a larger sphere, within a multiplicity of parts
that are both theoretical and practical.”1 Art and theory, in effect, are nothing more than two
different forms of practice interrelated through a system of interaction and transferences.
In this constellation, philosophy neither brings the arts to the point nor does art sensualize
philosophical truths; philosophy serves a knowledge-based artistic practice as a point of
reference, similar, conversely, to how art might affect theoretical practice.

gricultureremainscentraltoIndia’seconomy.Thelivelihoodsecurityofanincredibly
large number of farm families is linked to agriculture. 85 per cent of small and
marginal farmers derive their livelihood from this sector. To make farming more
remunerative and to transform farmers into agriprenuers, research innovations
for low cost technologies, machines and tools are necessary. This year has been
declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Family Farming. This is the time
to stimulate active policies for sustainable development of agricultural systems based on
farmer families and cooperatives. Programmes such as Bringing Green Revolution to Eastern
India and National Food Security Mission have already provided the much needed boost
to productivity of major crops in several states. I am sure the thrust to increased agricultural
productivity will continue.
Science-led growth of agriculture has paid rich dividends as the developmental experience
of India’s agriculture has shown. Agricultural education has to be in the forefront of building
a scientific base for research and extension. Our agricultural universities have to play an
important role in imparting quality education to students, making them professionally
competent and socially sensitive. To harmonize agricultural education with excellence in
science and technology, they have to undertake initiatives aimed at faculty and institution
development, and reforms in governance and curriculum. ABHINAV NIKETAN will initiate
National Agricultural Education Project to improve and sustain the quality of higher
agricultural education. A contemplated innovative student programmes is to be stablished,
which stands for Rural Entrepreneurship and Awareness Development. ABHINAV NIKETAN
aims at building Agriculture Science Pursuit for Inspired Research Excellence, and attracting
and yetaining youth in traditional Indian agriculture.

ndia is the fourth largest energy consumer in the world after the United States, China,
and Russia. In recent years, India’s energy consumption has been increasing at a relatively
fast rate due to population growth and economic development. Rapid urbanization and
improving standards of living for millions of Indian households, the demand is likely to
grow significantly. In order to sustain the production, industries have opted for inefficient
diesel-fuelled backup power. India’s energy planning, which is based on the twin objectives
of high economic growth and providing electricity to all, is failing to meet either. Current
scenario of energy demand and supply demands the research and development activities
in exploration of new reserves. There are huge amount of potential available in the renewable
energy system which can be explored and harnessed to meet the energy demand. ABHINAV
NIKETAN aims at building a green and clean India by developing alternate sources of Energy
for the common people.

BHINAV NIKETAN aims at research. in
environment and prevent degradation
of environment to create an eco-system
that is both sustainable and equitable.
We aims at building the scenario
today demands using knowledge to bring about
change. In other words, working India’s democracy.
This is what we aim to do.The challenge, we see,
is two-pronged. On the one hand, millions live
within a biomass based subsistence economy, at
the margins of survival. The environment is their
only natural asset. But a degraded environment
means stress on land, water and forest resources
for survival. It means increasing destitution and
poverty. Here, opportunity to bring about change
is enormous. But it will need a commitment to
reform–structuralreform-inthewaywedobusiness
with local communities. On the other hand, rapid
industrialization is throwing up new problems:
growing toxification and a costly disease burden.
The answers will be in reinventing the growth
model of the Western world for ourselves, so that
we can leapfrog technology choices and find new
ways of building wealth that will not cost us the
earth. This is the challenge of the balance. Our aim
is to raise these concerns, participate in seeking
answers and – more importantly – in pushing for
answers and transforming these into policy and
so practice. We do this through our research and
by communicating our understanding through
our publications. We call this knowledge-based
activism. We hope we will make a difference.

BHINAV NIKETAN aims at developing Medical Eco-system of India in mult-lateral
way by bringing modern health technology to the people through innovations
related to diagnostic treatment methods and vaccines for prevention and to
coordinate the research activities in the different areas of Health Research in
the country. The country has attained considerable progress in biomedical
research and patient care and management over the years but new emerging infections,
resistance of the causative agents to existing common drugs coupled with emergence of
non-communicable diseases like cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, mental and
neurological disorders, poses a new challenge to the medical and scientific fraternity.
To focus on the creation of a cadre of trained medical/health researchers in specific identified
priority areas of health research viz., Clinical Trials; Toxicology; Good Clinical Practices (GCP);
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP); Quality Control (QC) & QA; Genomics; Proteomics; Clinical
Psychology, Geriatrics; Modern Biology; Biotechnology; Stem cells; Genetics; Drugs chemistry;
and operational research etc..
We aims to create, support, nurture and encourage the trainees from these medical colleges
to forge linkages with other scientists from universities, research institutes etc. to develop
multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral teams necessary for addressing critical national and
local health problems.

D
evelopment, whether it is human development or country development, is
linked to the proper growth and development of the technology in many ways.
Technological advancement happens when there become new inventions in the
science by highly skilled and professional scientists. We can say that technology,
science and development are equally proportional to each other. Development
in the science and technology is very necessary for the people of any nation to go hand in
hand together by the people of other countries. Development of the science and technology
depends on the analysis and proper understanding of facts. Development of technology
depends on the way of application of various scientific knowledge in right direction. ABHINAV
NIKETAN aims at helping the society adaptive towards the rapid technological change by
educating as well training them and develop a Hi-Tech Eco-system that benefits all.
In order to enhance the economy and betterment of the people of any nation, up-to-date
knowledge, technology, science, and engineering are the fundamental requisites. A nation
can be backward and the chances of being developed country become minimal in the lack
of science and technology.
Science and technology plays vital role in the modern life and profoundly influenced the
course of human civilization. Technological advancement in the modern life has provided
us lots of remarkable insights all over the world. Scientific revolutions has taken its full speed
from the 20th century and has become more advance in the 21st century. We have entered
to the new century in new ways and with all the arrangements for well being of the people.
Modern culture and civilization has become dependent over the science and technologies
as they have become integral part of life according to the need and requirement of the
people.

ndia has become an important source of the creative and foundational scientific
developments and approaches all across the world. All the great scientific discoveries and
technological achievements in our country have improved the Indian economic status
and have created many new ways to the new generations to grow in the technologically
advanced environment. There are many new scientific researches and development have
been possible in the field of Mathematics, Architecture, Chemistry, Astronomy, Medicine,
Metallurgy, Natural Philosophy, physics, agriculture, health care, pharmaceuticals, astrophysics,
nuclear energy, space technology, applications, defense research, biotechnology, information
technology, electronics, oceanography and other areas.
Introduction of scientific researches, ideas and techniques to the field of education has
brought a huge level of positive change in the new generation and provided them variety of
new and innovative opportunities to work in the field of their own interest. Modem science
in India has been awakened by the continuous and hard efforts of the outstanding scientists.
Scientists in India are great who have made possible the scientific advances of highest
international calibre.
Technological development in any filed enhances the economy of any nation. In order to
improve the power of science and technology in India, Indian government has made Council
of Scientific and Industrial Research in the year 1942 and Board of Scientific and Industrial
Research in the year 1940. In order to emphasize the growth of science and technology in
the country, Indian government has established a chain of national laboratories and research
institutes in various regions.
After the independence, our country has been involved in the promotion of spread of science
for the national development. Variety of policies made by the government has emphasized
the self-sufficiency and sustainable growth and development all through the country. Both
science and technology have impacted the economic growth and social development in
the country in extraordinary manner.

  • 10. 09loZL; ykspua 'kkL=a ART ABHINAV NIKETAN | ORGANIZATION PROFILE RESEARCH O ne of most intriguing aspects about art today is its entanglement with theory. In fact, contemporary art practice is now so highly saturated with theoretical knowledge that it is becoming a research practice in and of itself. Artists have not only taken up art criticism and negotiations, they now also integrate research methods and scientific knowledge into their artistic process to such a degree that it even seems to be developing into an independent form of knowledge on its own. If this tendency is reinforced by the growing transfer of theoretical knowledge in the course of restructuring art academies and establishing so-called artistic research projects, such a blurring of the lines between art and theory could no longer live up to the classical philosophical notion that art is ultimately a sensual form of truth. ABHINAV NIKETAN is to develop artistic eco-system by enhancing and appropriation of knowledge through evoking different, independent forms of knowledge, in order to complement scientific research with artistic research. With regard to the relationship between philosophy and art, this implies that artistic practice is more than just an application of theory and that theory is more than a mere reflection on practice. Deleuze perceives this unique relationship as a system of relays within a larger sphere, within a multiplicity of parts that are both theoretical and practical.”1 Art and theory, in effect, are nothing more than two different forms of practice interrelated through a system of interaction and transferences. In this constellation, philosophy neither brings the arts to the point nor does art sensualize philosophical truths; philosophy serves a knowledge-based artistic practice as a point of reference, similar, conversely, to how art might affect theoretical practice.
  • 11. 10 loZL; ykspua 'kkL=a ABHINAV NIKETAN | ORGANIZATION PROFILE AGRICULTURERESEARCH A gricultureremainscentraltoIndia’seconomy.Thelivelihoodsecurityofanincredibly large number of farm families is linked to agriculture. 85 per cent of small and marginal farmers derive their livelihood from this sector. To make farming more remunerative and to transform farmers into agriprenuers, research innovations for low cost technologies, machines and tools are necessary. This year has been declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Family Farming. This is the time to stimulate active policies for sustainable development of agricultural systems based on farmer families and cooperatives. Programmes such as Bringing Green Revolution to Eastern India and National Food Security Mission have already provided the much needed boost to productivity of major crops in several states. I am sure the thrust to increased agricultural productivity will continue. Science-led growth of agriculture has paid rich dividends as the developmental experience of India’s agriculture has shown. Agricultural education has to be in the forefront of building a scientific base for research and extension. Our agricultural universities have to play an important role in imparting quality education to students, making them professionally competent and socially sensitive. To harmonize agricultural education with excellence in science and technology, they have to undertake initiatives aimed at faculty and institution development, and reforms in governance and curriculum. ABHINAV NIKETAN will initiate National Agricultural Education Project to improve and sustain the quality of higher agricultural education. A contemplated innovative student programmes is to be stablished, which stands for Rural Entrepreneurship and Awareness Development. ABHINAV NIKETAN aims at building Agriculture Science Pursuit for Inspired Research Excellence, and attracting and yetaining youth in traditional Indian agriculture.

  • 13. 12 loZL; ykspua 'kkL=a ABHINAV NIKETAN | ORGANIZATION PROFILE EDUCATIONRESEARCH A BHINAV NIKETAN firmly belives that quality education is very necessary and for that national seminar, conference, workshop on various issues related to education, skill development, entrepreneurship, women empowerment and other allied issues must be organized. • 14. I ndia is the fourth largest energy consumer in the world after the United States, China, and Russia. In recent years, India’s energy consumption has been increasing at a relatively fast rate due to population growth and economic development. Rapid urbanization and improving standards of living for millions of Indian households, the demand is likely to grow significantly. In order to sustain the production, industries have opted for inefficient diesel-fuelled backup power. India’s energy planning, which is based on the twin objectives of high economic growth and providing electricity to all, is failing to meet either. Current scenario of energy demand and supply demands the research and development activities in exploration of new reserves. There are huge amount of potential available in the renewable energy system which can be explored and harnessed to meet the energy demand. ABHINAV NIKETAN aims at building a green and clean India by developing alternate sources of Energy for the common people. 13loZL; ykspua 'kkL=a ENERGY (CLEAN) ABHINAV NIKETAN | ORGANIZATION PROFILE RESEARCH
  • 15. A BHINAV NIKETAN aims at research. in environment and prevent degradation of environment to create an eco-system that is both sustainable and equitable. We aims at building the scenario today demands using knowledge to bring about change. In other words, working India’s democracy. This is what we aim to do.The challenge, we see, is two-pronged. On the one hand, millions live within a biomass based subsistence economy, at the margins of survival. The environment is their only natural asset. But a degraded environment means stress on land, water and forest resources for survival. It means increasing destitution and poverty. Here, opportunity to bring about change is enormous. But it will need a commitment to reform–structuralreform-inthewaywedobusiness with local communities. On the other hand, rapid industrialization is throwing up new problems: growing toxification and a costly disease burden. The answers will be in reinventing the growth model of the Western world for ourselves, so that we can leapfrog technology choices and find new ways of building wealth that will not cost us the earth. This is the challenge of the balance. Our aim is to raise these concerns, participate in seeking answers and – more importantly – in pushing for answers and transforming these into policy and so practice. We do this through our research and by communicating our understanding through our publications. We call this knowledge-based activism. We hope we will make a difference. 14 loZL; ykspua 'kkL=a ABHINAV NIKETAN | ORGANIZATION PROFILE ENVIRONMENTRESEARCH
  • 16. A BHINAV NIKETAN aims at developing Medical Eco-system of India in mult-lateral way by bringing modern health technology to the people through innovations related to diagnostic treatment methods and vaccines for prevention and to coordinate the research activities in the different areas of Health Research in the country. The country has attained considerable progress in biomedical research and patient care and management over the years but new emerging infections, resistance of the causative agents to existing common drugs coupled with emergence of non-communicable diseases like cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, mental and neurological disorders, poses a new challenge to the medical and scientific fraternity. To focus on the creation of a cadre of trained medical/health researchers in specific identified priority areas of health research viz., Clinical Trials; Toxicology; Good Clinical Practices (GCP); Good Laboratory Practices (GLP); Quality Control (QC) & QA; Genomics; Proteomics; Clinical Psychology, Geriatrics; Modern Biology; Biotechnology; Stem cells; Genetics; Drugs chemistry; and operational research etc..
