THE ABC’S OF Food
A: Apple The usually round red or yellow edible fruit.  I ate a red apple for lunch. A apple is healthy, it has different colors, apples grow from trees.
B: Banana A tropical plant of the genus musa. I found a banana at the grocery store. Monkeys love bananas, they are yellow, they sometimes can be small.
C: Carrot  The nutritious orange or yellow root of this plant , eaten raw or cooked. My neighbor grows carrots and sales them. Carrots are orange, it can be made in a stew, carrots are also healthy.
D: Dumplings A rounded mass of steamed and seasoned dough often served in a soup or with meat in a stew They had chicken and dumplings at the restaurant. Dumplings are cooked balls of dough, they are based on flour potatoes  and matzoh meal, may include meat fish or sweets.
E: Eggs  The roundish reproductive body produced by a female of a certain animals. I bought some eggs at the store. Eggs takes 79 days to hatch, A fresh egg will sink in water a stale one will float, If you spin a egg and it wobbles its raw.
F: Fish  The flesh of fishes used as food. We ate trout last night and it was very good fish. Fish are a highly diverse group of vertebrates, the earliest known fish were the ostracoderms, fish have been on the earth for about 450 million years.
G: Green Beans  The immature green pod of the kidney bean, eaten as a vegetable. You should eat your green beans because they are healthy for you. Green beans originated from north and south America, the most popular type of green bean is the string bean, green beans are the easiest vegetable to grow.
H: Ham A cut of meat from a hogs rear or  the hogs hind leg. Ham is good in salad and with other food. Ham comes from the old English hamm, caned hams came to America in 1926, country ham came into print in 1944.
I: Ice cream A frozen food containing cream or milk and butterfat, sugar, flavoring, and sometimes eggs. Ice cream is good in the summer. M: Meatballs A small ball of ground meat We had meatballs. They are typically made of ground beef, meatballs are made with spices, meatballs are a stable food around the world.
N: Nachos Tortilla chips topped with meat, cheese, tomatoes, and peppers. Nachos are good when there are certain stuff on them. Nachos are loved by 98% of people around the world, they are always served at sport games, nachos were invented in 1943.
O: Orange A bitter sweet , edible citrus fruit. I like oranges. Oranges were found in Wakashimba, oranges comes from the Latin word Orangakdierkl, oranges are good and healthy.

S: Spaghetti A white, starchy pasta of the Italian origin. I like my moms spaghetti. The etruscants made spaghetti as early as 400 B.C. , Christopher Columbus was born during national pasta month, the first pasta factory was in Brooklyn, New York.
T: Taco An often crisply fried tortilla folded over and filled with meat, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. I like tacos with certain things on them. The word taco describes a typical mexican dish of maize, the first taco was eaten during a european feast, bernal diaz del castillo made the taco.
U: Ugli A large , sweet variety  of tangelo of Jamaican origin. I want to try a ugli. Despite the weird skin the ugli is easy to peel, some eating places order the fruit as a ingredient, the fruit also has good juice.
V: Veal A calf raised for its meat. Veal is good. Calfs are taken away from their mothers when they are a couple days old, they are slaughterd when they are 14 or 16, they give the cows growth hormones.
W: Watermelon The large roundish or elongated fruit of a trailing vine. I love watermelons in the summer. Watermelons can weigh from 18 to 30 pounds, the colors can be PINK to dark red, they have about 120 calories.
X: Xylocarp A fruit, such as a coconut, having a hard wooden pericarp. Xylocarp is hard like a coconut. It is hard, it has a unusaul name, it is green.
Y: Yam  The starchy tuberous root of any various climbing vines. I hate yams. Americans use the word yam to refer to a sweet moist orange potato, to everyone else in the world a yam is what americans call a tropical yam, wild yam is a herbal product.
Z: Zucchini A varitey of summer squash that is shaped like a cucumber. I think zucchini is alright. The zucchini plant is also edible, the worlds largest zucchini was 69 ½, a zucchini has more pottasium than a banana.
