23 countries.
Study Metro helps students to make the right overseas education
decisions. Our expertise in the field of overseas education has made us a
time-tested resource in helping students to gain admission for suitable
courses in recognized universities across the globe.
4. Why Study In The US?
Thousands of students from all over the world choose to
study in the US. Here are a few reasons why:
The US has one of the top university systems in the
world.
The US has an extremely wide variety of degree
programs; it’s easy to find one that will suit your needs.
A degree from a US university will make it easier for you
to get a visa to live and work in the US later on.
You’ll experience a new culture and make social and
professional connections.
6. What is H1B?
The H1B Visa Program is the official and primary USA "work:
visa / work permit.
The US Government offers the H1B visa to enable highly
skilled International Workers and International Students from
all over the World or already in the USA.
The one of its kind opportunity to legally live and work in
America.
7. ELIGIBILITY FOR H1B?
An H1B sponsorship employment offer is mandatory
before the H1B visa can be filed. Only the US employer
company (sponsor) can file the H1B visa application (not
an individual / recipient).
8. H1B VALIDITY
An H1B visa is typically valid for up to six (6) years. It
entitles the H1B visa holder’s spouse and children to 'live' in
America.
ADVANTAGE
One of the main advantages of the H1B visa (US work permit) is
that it is a 'dual intent' visa which means that you can apply for a
Green Card (Legal Permanent Residency) holding this visa in
person.
9. Why F1 is better Than H1B
The H1B is the most popular and sought after US work visa and US Immigration requires
‘every’ foreign national to obtain a visa in order to legally work in America. Getting H1b
VISA is very difficult because every year 6-7 lacs application filled for H1B and only 65,000
granted all over the world.
Similarly, under CPT program international students can work up to 40 hours per week also
get Full time Degree. Visa success rate is also very good.
10. Students and Employment
If you would like to study as a full-time student in the
United States, you will need a student visa.
These visas are commonly known as the F and M visas.
F-1 Student Visa - (Academic Student)
M-1 Student Visa - (Vocational Student)

and not more than 90 days prior to the requested OPT start date.
