9. What is next?
1. We will review your application documents. If we need more information/documents,
we will contact you.
2. If you are admissible, we will send you an I-20 certificate. (You need an I-20 certificate
to apply for a student visa.)
3. You will apply for a visa at the US Embassy/Consulate in your country.
(You will pay a SEVIS fee before you go to the visa interview.)
When to apply
Most programs accept students throughout the year.
To start at AUM in fall semester, please apply by July 15.

10. Housing:
There are three residence halls (dormitory buildings)
on campus: Warhawk Hall, the Commons, and the
Courtyards. All residence halls are a few minutes away
from classes.
Internet, cable TV, and laundry services are free. There
are private rooms, semi-private rooms, and shared
rooms. The cost of living in a dorm is between $500 -
$1,000 a month. For current information, please go to
