Jammu being knows as “City of Temples” where as Kashmir is

9. The Roza Bal or Rauza Bal or Rozabal is
the name of a shrine located in the Khanyaar.
The word rauza means tomb, the word bal

Locals believe a sage is buried here, Yuzasaf
or Yuz Asaf (or Youza Asouph), alongside
another muslim holy man, Mir Sayyid
Naseeruddin.
The shrine was relatively unknown until the
founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim
Community, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, claimed
in 1899 that it is actually the tomb of Jesus.
This belief is shared by many Ahmadis today.

to its location which provides
panoramic views of the

known as the Jyesteshwara temple or
Pas-Pahar by Buddhists.
Shankracharya Temple was renamed as
Takht-e-Suleiman (Throne of Solomon)
It is on top of the Shankaracharya Hill

Zabarwan Mountain in Srinagar,
Kashmir.
The temple is at a height of 1,000 feet
(300 m) above the plain and overlooks
the city of Srinagar.

Monastery (also transliterated from
Ladakhi as Tikse, Tiksey or Thiksey)
is a gompa(monastery) affiliated with
the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
The monastery is located at an altitude
of 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) in the Indus
Valley.
It is a twelve-story complex and houses
many items of Buddhist art such as
stupas, statues, thangkas, wall
paintings and swords.

Gompa or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and
largest Buddhist monastery (gompa) in the
Nubra Valley of Ladakh, northern India.
