2. The Pashupatinath temple is one of the important Hindu shrine located on
the bank of river Bagmati. Pashupatinath temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.
Thousands of devotees come to Pashupatinath temple to offer their prayers
and seek blessings from God Shiva. One of the major Festivals of the
temple is Maha Shivaratri, Bala Chaturthi, and Teej on that day over 1
million devotees visit here. Teej is one of the most celebrated festivals at
Pashupatinath Temple. Teej festival is celebrated by Hindu Nepali women
for long life, the happiness of their husbands. During all these festivals, the
temple is adorned with lights and garlands and takes on an ethereal

The main complex of the Pashupatinath Temple is constructed in the
Nepalese pagoda architectural style. Regular Abhishek performs in
Pashupatinath Temple. Its time is 9-11am. During this, all four doors
are opened. It is only during this period when all the four faces of the
Shiva Lingam are visible to the devotees. You have to purchase a ticket

4. Swayambhu also is known as Swayambhunath Stupa, and the Swayambhu Maha
Chaitya is another famous holy places in Kathmandu which attract the tourist and locals

Phewa Lake is the hub of attraction in Pokhara. The lake lies at the
altitude of 742 meters and occupies 4.43 km2 of area. The average depth
of the lake is about 8.6 meters. It is a semi-natural freshwater lake
enveloped by rani ban or queen's forest and stunning reflection of the
Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges in the clear lake waters. It is
also a perfect place to experience the ever so glorious Himalayan sunrises.
It has some religious significance too as it is known for the sacred Tal
Barahi Temple located on an island in the lake. The lake is famous for

6. The Bindhyabasini temple is located near Bagar, in
Pokhara, Nepal. Legend relates this temple to the famous
temple of Bindhyabasini in Bindhyachal in Uttar Pradesh,
India. It is believed that King Siddhi Narayan Shah of
Kaski brought the deity to Pokhara before Nepal’s
unification. Bindebasini temple is also located in birgunj
city of Nepal which is believed to be connected with the
temple in pokhara. Goddess bindebasini, sister of goddess
durga is worshipped here.
Davi's Fall in Pokhara is an extraordinary waterfall
which creates a 500 feet long underground tunnel as it
reaches its bottom. This tunnel has brought the fall its
name, i.e. Patale Chango in the Nepalese language,
which means "underground waterfall." Fed by Phewa
Lake Dam, the waterfall is surrounded by abundant flora.

to the Buddhist scripture, the Mayadevi temple is considered as the

Japanese architect Kenzo Tange in 1978. Bhodi tree in Lumbini is
located in Mayadevi Complex right to the scared pool called Puskami.
Bhodi Tree also called as Bo or pipal tree under which Siddhartha

World Peace Pagoda is also known as Japan Peace was established in
November 2001. It symbolizes peace and promotes harmony in humans,
especially after World War II. It is a famous tourist attraction place in
Lumbini. It is located outside the main compound, the structure is a
glorious stupa with traditional pagoda style architecture. It was
constructed by Japanese Buddhist at a cost of US $1 million, the
monument is colored white with a golden buddha statue. The majestic
construction has a dome in the center that can be reached by climbing
one of the two steps of stairs leading to it. On the second level, there's a
