This document summarizes a study on rehabilitation facilities provided by the Indian government for people with disabilities. The study had three objectives: 1) assess the need for disability rehabilitation in Pune, India, 2) examine government schemes for people with disabilities, and 3) understand public awareness of rehabilitation centers and facilities. Through surveys and statistical analysis, the study found that while awareness of job reservations and scholarships is higher, awareness of other schemes is still low. The study also found a significant relationship between age and awareness of government support, as well as differences in awareness levels across various facilities. Increasing publicity of available support was recommended to help more people access rehabilitation services.
