This document summarizes a study on the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in Coimbatore, India. It finds that the major challenges are a lack of balance between family and career, limited access to financing, socio-cultural barriers, low education levels, lack of access to business networks, lack of self-confidence, and mobility constraints. The study used a descriptive research design and purposive sampling to collect data from 60 women entrepreneur respondents. It found that 50% of respondents reported high levels of challenges, while 27% reported low levels and 23% reported moderate levels. Several socio-demographic factors like age, education level, and monthly income had a significant influence on the level of challenges faced. Suggestions to
