This document presents a probabilistic multi-objective optimization approach for the optimal allocation of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices, specifically Static VAR Compensators (SVCs) and Thyristor-Controlled Series Capacitors (TCSCs), in power transmission networks with high levels of wind penetration. It incorporates uncertainties from wind power generation and correlated load demands using a multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) algorithm, aiming to maximize loadability while minimizing power losses and installation costs. The proposed method is validated through numerical results applied to a modified IEEE 30-bus system, demonstrating its effectiveness and economic benefits.
