My Grandma, myself, and our cousins Doug and Adele visited Las Vegas where we saw beautiful hotels like the Bellagio and its dancing fountains. We enjoyed shopping, dining at nice restaurants, and spending time together as a family. One of my favorite hotels was the Mirage for its design and attractions like dolphins. I also had fun going to Red Rock Canyon and riding in a pink jeep. The colorful lights of the city at night made an impression on me. Overall, the trip with family to Las Vegas was a really enjoyable experience.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMBUSTION FUMES AND GASES RELEASED DURING THE BURNING OF SOM...
Along with the strong growth of PV installations, also the
number of fires involving PV systems has grown. The fire
risk analysis due to PV systems has been taken into strong
consideration. About that, 3 were the most considered
issues:
1) PV modules and components fire behavior;
2) causes of fire ignition related to PV components;
3) risk of electrocution in firefighting activities in proximity
to photovoltaic generators.
To protect the firefighter and to respect the environment,
the type of fumes and gases that are released into the
environment during a fire of a PV system should also be
considered.
This paper shows the analysis of the fumes and gases
released during the burning and pyrolysis of some c-Si PV
modules.

Nuovi riferimenti normativi per testing e valutazione di conformità di moduli...
La crescita del mercato e dell’industria fotovoltaica ha fatto sì che gli operatori del settore abbiano sempre più puntato l’attenzione sull’affidabilità dei prodotti e sulla differenziazione degli stessi. La qualità e l’affidabilità dei moduli fotovoltaici può essere valutata mediante testing in accordo alle specifiche norme di prodotto: la Norma CEI EN 61215 (serie) e la Norma CEI EN 61730 (Parte 1 e Parte 2) che, nel loro recente aggiornamento, hanno introdotto rilevanti novità.
Nel corso del seminario, gli aspetti relativi alle prove e alle certificazioni dei moduli secondo tali norme saranno discussi fra gli Officer del CT 82 del CEI e gli operatori del mercato dei moduli FV, tenendo conto che, mentre l’applicazione della Norma CEI EN 61215 ha carattere di volontarietà per dimostrare la qualità del prodotto, la rispondenza alla Norma CEI EN 61730 (essendo norma europea armonizzata ai sensi della Direttiva Bassa Tensione, per le prescrizioni di sicurezza) è un requisito sufficiente a garantire la presunzione di conformità alla Direttiva BT, giacché il “prodotto” modulo fotovoltaico, per essere immesso sul mercato comunitario, deve essere dotato di marcatura CE.

Polymeric encapsulation materials may a change size when processed at typical module lamination temperatures. The relief of residual strain, trapped during the manufacture of encapsulation sheet, can affect module performance and reliability. For example, displaced cells and interconnects threaten: cell fracture; broken interconnects (open circuits and ground faults); delamination at interfaces; and void formation. The IEC 62788-1-5 standard quantifies the maximum change in linear dimensions that may occur to allow for process control of size change. Developments incorporated into the Committee Draft (CD) of the standard as well as the assessment of the repeatability and reproducibility of the test method are described here. No pass/fail criteria are given in the standard, rather a repeatable protocol to quantify the change in dimension is provided to aid those working with encapsulation.

The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network

Climate change's impact on the planet forced the United Nations and governments to promote green energies and electric transportation. The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network

Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoring
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.
