2. A FUNNY
SITUATION
IN AFRICA.

3. 1. It is a hot day. African
animals are walking. They
want to drink.

4. 2. There is a lake next
to them. This lake is
magic but the animals
don’t know about it.

5. 3. First a parrot and a snake are
coming to the lake.
The long snake says “I want to
have wings. I want to fly.”
The parrot says “I want to have
a long body. I want to slither.”

6. 4. Then a monkey and a crocodile are
coming to the lake.
The funny monkey says “I want to
have strong legs and a tail like a
crocodile has. I want to swim.”
The green crocodile says “I want to
have naughty arms and legs like a
monkey has. I want to climb the trees.”

7. 5. At last an elephant and a zebra
are coming to the lake.
The big grey elephant says “I
want to have black and white
stripes. I want to run fast.”
The zebra says “I want to be
the biggest animal in Africa.”

8. 6. They begin to dream. Suddenly their
dreams come true.
Now the snake has got wings and
the parrot has got a long body. The
monkey has got green legs and a tail.
The crocodile looks like a monkey now.
The elephant is black and white now, it
has got black and white stripes and
quick legs. The zebra is the biggest
animal in Africa now.
7. And they have got different
funny names. The snake is «Snarot»
now. The parrot is «Parke», the
monkey is «Moncodile», the
crocodile is «Crokey», the elephant
is «Elebra» and the zebra is
«Zebphant». The animals are very
happy and begin to jump and have
fun.

9. 8. Then they want to go and
fly away but suddenly a clever
lion, the king of the animals,
comes. It looks at the animals
and says “I don’t know you!
You can’t live in Africa!”
9. The animals are afraid
and they want to have their
own legs, bodies and color.

10. 10. Because the lake is magic
«Snarot» becomes a snake again
and «Moncodile» becomes a
monkey, «Parke» becomes a parrot,
«Crokey» becomes a crocodile,
«Elebra» becomes an elephant and
«Zebphant» becomes a zebra.
All the animals are very happy!
