This document is from a 2014 study of the Book of Acts at St. J & B Church. It discusses the "First Sermon" in Acts 2:14-40 which was preached by Peter on the Day of Pentecost. The sermon surpassed the preacher, understood the congregation, appealed to the mind by quoting Scripture, pointed to Christ, and cut the listeners to the heart, compelling them to ask what they should do.
