This document discusses connecting faith to justice and the needs of the city. It addresses two disconnects between only meeting human needs versus only preaching the gospel. Several bible passages are cited that speak to loving your neighbor and doing for others as doing for God. The risks and reasons for doing justice are explored. Recommendations are given to choose someone over everyone, witness over words, and action over reaction when doing justice. The document encourages getting connected to do justice.

TOPOGRAPHY OVER JERUSALEM IS READY FOR THE KINGDOM OF MESSIAHhuldahministry
In 2011, huge craters on the seafloor on the seafloor was discovered at the Dead Sea, form which freshwater was flowing. The beginnings of the prophecies of Ezekiel and Joel are in place, waiting to spring forth…
God begins His revelation to man by stating that He created all things. It reminds us of His power and that He is worthy of our worship. Refusal to submit to the Creator leads to moral corruption. All of us have turned away from God in sin, but Jesus died so that we could become new creatures.

The Miracle of Mercy - Part 6 - From Misery To MercyLifePointe Church
This message is Part 6 of the series “The Miracle Of Mercy” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message Pastor Chuck talks about how we can help people move “From Misery To Mercy”.
One of the most important things we can do as Christians is to pass on the mercy we have received from God to others, especially in tangible acts of kindness and compassion. Mercy is unearned kindness - literally "LOVE IN ACTION". Using the story of The Good Samaritan, Pastor Chuck talks about why and how we should show tangible kindness to others and how we can help to move people "From Misery To Mercy".

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

7. Luke 10:27-28
“You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, and with all your
soul, and with all your strength, and
with all your mind; and your
neighbor as yourself… do this, and
you will live.”
8. Matthew 25:40
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for
one of the least of these brothers and
sisters of mine, you did for me.”
9. The RISKS
Of Doing JUSTICE
“Bear each other’s burdens…”
10. Luke 10:31-33
“Now by chance a priest was going down
that road; and when he saw him, he
passed by on the other side. So likewise
a Levite… But a Samaritan while
travelling came near him; and when he
saw him, he was moved with pity.”
12. John 3:17
“For God did not send his Son into
the world to condemn the world, but
to save the world through him.”
13. Some
RECOMMENDATIONS
For doing JUSTICE
1. Choose Someone over Everyone
2. Choose Witness over Words
3. Choose Action over Reaction
14. GET CONNECTED
“Christianity has been specially advanced
through the loving service rendered to
strangers, and through their care for the
burial of the dead. It is a scandal that that
these Galileans care not only for their own
poor but for ours as well.”
Emperor Julian
