The document discusses how the church began according to the Bible. It describes how after Jesus' resurrection and appearances to the disciples, he commissioned them to spread the gospel. On the day of Pentecost, about 3000 people accepted Peter's message and were baptized, marking the birth of the church. The early church devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer. Jesus is the head of the church and remains involved as its shepherd and leader. The document also outlines eight marks that characterize a church, including qualified leadership, preaching, worship, communion, evangelism, love, discipline, and unity.
Jesus only built one church which is a spiritual body. In the New Testament we find that the Christians guided by inspired apostles assembled together as local assemblies or churches in order to accomplish the work the Lord gave them to do. That simple arrangement resulted in those local churches preaching the gospel throughout the whole world as the Lord commanded to be done. These slides are about those local assemblies and suggest that the Lord has not changed this arrangement.
Structure and Worship of the Early churchesLinus Daniel
These slides explore the Structure and worship of the Earliest churches. It also explores the very definition of 'church' and its practical application to Christian life.
Finally we explore what it means for true worshippers to Worship in Truth and Spirit.
"For God's temple is holy, and Y O U are that temple" - 1Co 3:17
The church community is a unit of people who have come together because they are aligned in faith and purpose. Three important descriptors of any true church community should be: unity, fellowship and power. These defined the early community of believers.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

13. JOHN 20: 19-21
19 On the evening of that first day of the
week, when the disciples were together,
with the doors locked for fear of the
Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood
among them and said, “Peace be with
you!”
14. JOHN 20: 19-21
20 After He said this, He showed them His
hands and side. The disciples were
overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with
you! As the Father has sent Me, I am
sending you.”
18. ACTS 1: 1-2
1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote
about all that Jesus began to do and to
teach 2 until the day He was taken up to
heaven, after giving instructions through
the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had
chosen.
19. Luke states that an effort was
taken to compile a narrative
about the life of Jesus.
20. Now, the book of Luke was about
the life, ministry, and teaching of
Jesus by the power of the Holy
Spirit until he died, rose, and
ascended back into heaven.
27. ACTS 2: 42-47
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’
teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking
of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was
filled with awe at the many wonders and
signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the
believers were together and had everything
in common.
28. ACTS 2: 42-47
45 They sold property and possessions to
give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day
they continued to meet together in the
temple courts. They broke bread in their
homes and ate together with glad and
sincere hearts,
29. ACTS 2: 42-47
47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all
the people. And the Lord added to their
number daily those who were being saved.
35. COLOSSIANS 1:18
18 And He is the head of the body, the
church; He is the beginning and the
firstborn from among the dead, so that in
everything He might have the supremacy.
44. MATTHEW 28:20
20 Teaching them to observe all that I
have commanded you. And behold, I am
with you always, to the end of the age."
45. 6.
Jesus is also the One who, when
they’re faithless or fruitless,
shuts a church down.
46. REVELATION 2:5
5 Remember therefore from where you
have fallen; repent, and do the works you
did at first. If not, I will come to you and
remove your lampstand from its place,
unless you repent.
52. HEBREWS 13:17
17 Have confidence in your leaders and
submit to their authority, because they
keep watch over you as those who must
give an account. Do this so that their work
will be a joy, not a burden, for that would
be of no benefit to you.
53. 1 TIMOTHY 5:17
17 The elders who direct the affairs of the
church well are worthy of double
honor, especially those whose work is
preaching and teaching.
54. 1 CORINTHIANS 12:12
12 Just as a body, though one, has many
parts, but all its many parts form one
body, so it is with Christ.
58. HEBREWS 10: 23-25
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the
hope we profess, for He who promised is
faithful. 24 And let us consider how we
may spur one another on toward love and
good deeds,
59. HEBREWS 10: 23-25
25 not giving up meeting together, as
some are in the habit of doing, but
encouraging one another—and all the
more as you see the Day approaching.
66. MATTHEWS 28: 18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All
authority in heaven and on earth has
been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the Name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit,
67. MATTHEWS 28: 18-20
20 and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I am
with you always, to the very end of the
age.”
