Following the conclusion of our Bible teaching series on Esther, on Sunday 16th November, we will join together following the morning service for a ‘bring and share’ Purim lunch. Purim is a traditional Jewish celebration that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people as recorded in the book of Esther. Please bring a plate of food to share - triangular shaped if possible! (On Purim, Jews eat triangular pastries called Hamantaschen.) Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be provided. All are welcome.

4:00 pm: All-age service at The Mission, East Challow. Continuing the 
series ‘Introducing Jesus’, Andy Hooker leads and Ian Reynolds speaks on 
‘I am the light of the world’ (John 8: 12). 
The annual Portal Appliance Testing (PAT test) will be done next Sunday, 9th November. If anyone wishes to use electrical equipment for GFEC, please bring it along on that Sunday.
