My Personal Motto: “Success is a Decision” I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at only age 17.  During a field exercise, firing live artillery shells over fellow Marines, a section chief did not validate that the fuse had been properly set.  The shell exploded over the heads of the infantry… The Commanding Officer relieved him of his duties and asked me to assume command of the cannon crew.  I was younger and less experienced than the Marines that would be reporting to me. I accepted the Captains mission and the responsibility that came with it, knowing that this was my first step towards  becoming a true leader. Failure simply was never an option.  Success is a decision.  Once you choose to be successful, there is no turning  back. 1991, Operation Desert Storm:  Corporal US Marines.

Partnership Leading to Results I was the point person, working directly with multiple vendors to create, deploy and direct the process for the National Home Entertainment Training Sessions that took place in the spring and fall of 2008. The results were exceptional, with the Home Entertainment “basket” rising from $262 to $330.  This was the highest level achieved in over two years, without a supporting promotion such as free home theater system.
Solid Ability to Manage Relationships As the Director of Sales Development, I created and coordinated the “Partnership Alignment Process”, managing the relationships between key vendor partners and corporate/retail leadership.  Monster Cable, J.P. Morgan Chase, Samsung, Panasonic, Bose, Sony, Hewlett Packard and Action Link were all involved. Under my direction, the business relationships reached a pinnacle and retail stores were engaged in a unified fashion by all partners, aligned on core company objectives and prescribed selling behaviors.  This drove positive results and better customer service.
International Experience In 2007, I was selected by the CEO to serve as the “retail man on the ground” exploring business opportunities in China with various consulting firms.
