This document provides an overview of training for a Designer Immersion program at Nordstrom. It covers several key areas: getting started basics like department procedures and product knowledge; understanding job expectations such as goals, policies, and best practices; Nordstrom best practices for customer service; an introduction to designer products and values including building relationships, treating customers uniquely, and loving the product; resources for designers including the Personal Book tool; and styling and fitting practices. The overall goal is to immerse new employees in the designer business at Nordstrom through comprehensive training.
