- 1. Placement, 23rd of September, Washington Arts Centre. Meeting a few of the employees at the art centre, that included Dan Appleby, the learning and engagement assistant who would also be our main point of contact and mentor. We also got to meet Rachel Hamer, the young people and community's producer. And Matthew Blyth, the audience developer officer all at the Washington Art Centre. Being there, I got to learn all about the history of Washington, the charity running the art centre, Sunderland Culture, and the Art Centre itself. Finding we would do a lot of marketing work and gain connections getting to participate in the activity groups the centre holds, it is clear that many opportunities could come with taking up the art centre for work experience.
