Timbre- is the quality of sound produced either
by human voice or musical device. It is also the
sound coming from your voice box when you sing
a song.
It is also the sound produced through vibration
when you strum the strings of your guitar.
Other musical instruments sounds can be
produced by hitting, such as percussion
instruments. Example : drum or gong; plucking
such as string instruments like guitar; blowing
such as wind example are flute, trumpet,etc.

• A voice type is a particular kind of
human singing voice perceived as having certain
identifying qualities or characteristics.
• Women are typically divided into 2
groups: soprano, and alto.
• Men are usually divided into 2 groups: tenor,
and bass.

1. Use head tone- this is also
called the head voice. This is
done by extending your singing
voice from the lowest to the
highest level.

deep breath while singing. It is
just like learning how to control
your breath to produce while

following guidelines on proper

-Try to relax your chest and shoulders.
3. How to use the diaphragm-keep your
diaphragm relax as you fill it with air.
