Internet of Things & Its application in Smart AgricultureMohammad Zakriya
As we know Agriculture plays vital role in the development of agricultural country. In India about 70% of population depends upon farming and one third of the nation’s capital comes from farming. Issues concerning agriculture have been always hindering the development of the country. The only solution to this problem is smart agriculture by modernizing the current traditional methods of agriculture. Hence the project aims at making agriculture smart using automation and IoT technologies.
Students will be able to comprehend the ideas of the Internet of Things and will be able to develop basic IoT applications
Explain about the Internet of Things (IoT) and its need and
also how it functions.
2. Identify the reasons that contributed to the development of IoT technology.
3. Use Real IoT protocols for communication.
4. Challenges in IoT
5. Different areas of IoT applications
6. Develop basic IoT Applications
InfluxDB + Kepware: Start Monitoring Industrial Data QuicklyInfluxData
Kepware (a PTC Technology) is the market leader in Industrial Connectivity platforms, and is helping companies bridge the gap between IT and OT. For the past 25 years, Kepware has developed industrial connectivity tools including over 150 industrial drivers, and supporting over 300 protocols – from traditional automation protocols such as OPC UA or OPC DA to more modern IIoT protocols like MQTT or REST. Together with InfluxDB, customers achieve quick time to value, gaining insights from their industrial time-stamped data. Developers are able to collect, process, store and analyze thousands of metrics faster! Join this webinar to learn multiple approaches to sending IIoT data to a time series database.
In this webinar, Kyle Carreau and Jay Clifford dive into:
How to use Telegraf to send OPC UA and MQTT metrics to InfluxDB
The new Kepware IoT Gateway Advanced Template features to send data directly to InfluxDB
Best practices for using InfluxDB + Kepware for industrial automation – stick around for a demo!

Nerospec IIoT is part of a group of companies, Nerospec Core is a group of key individuals specialising in Industrial Networks, Mining, Machine Automation and of course IIoT. The Internet of Things (IoT) industry has come about due to the need for effective tools to transform outdated processes into the Industrial 4.0 revolution and streamline machine data.
IoT is reshaping the manufacturing and industrial processes, effectively changing the paradigm from one of repair and replace to more of predict and prevent. Using data streaming from connected equipment and machinery, organizations can now monitor the health of their assets and effectively predict when and how an asset might fail. However, without the right data management strategy and tools, investments in IoT can yield limited results. Join Cloudera and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for a joint webinar to learn more about how organizations are using advanced analytics and machine learning to drive IoT enabled predictive maintenance.

This presentation introduces the framework for an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) convergence towards edge/fog computing. It also defines new industry concepts of "Decentralized Digital Oilfield -DDOF" with semi-autonomous intelligent IIoT operation technology (OT), enabled by Blockchain.
A presentation on IoT - Internet of Things. Helps in getting a overview about the technology, architecture, platforms & applications used. With one real life example of Philips Hue Lights
In a world rocked by the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), the mobile revolution, Digital Transformation, and COVID-19, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) remains an essential technology system for manufacturers. However, a SCADA system that was “good enough” 10 or 15 years ago will not be adequate in today’s environment. Before adopting or upgrading to a new SCADA system, you must be certain that it offers the power and flexibility your organization needs to adapt to these unfolding changes.

18. Predict Downtime based on your historical
data
Predict the value of a numeric field using a weighted combination of the
values of other fields in that event. A common use of these predictions is
to identify anomalies: predictions that differ significantly from the actual
value may be considered anomalous. IT admins could predict the values of
sensors that were malfunctioning; security analysts could predict how
much data a user is likely to transfer and flag unusually high prediction
errors; and business analysts could predict the likely spending habits of
customers.
Algorithm: Linear Regression
19. Detect Outliers
Find values that are far from previous values. IT admins could
look for machines with unusually high resource utilization;
security analysts could look for employees transfering
unusually large amounts of data; and business analysts could
identify big spenders.
Algorithm: Distribution statistics
20. Forecast your production data
Predict likely future values given past values of a metric
(numerical time series). IT admins could perform capacity
planning by forecasting when a resource will be exhausted;
security analysts could identify subtle attack signatures by
finding trends; and business analysts could forecast earnings
and other business metrics.
Algorithm: State-space Method using Kalman Filter
