With AWS IoT, you can also deliver messages to AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Firehose, Kinesis,
S3, Simple Queue Service (SQS), and Simple Notification Service (SNS).
Deliveries to AWS services do not generate AWS IoT fees.
You can publish or deliver up to 512 bytes in a single message.
Larger messages are metered in increments of 512 bytes. For example, a 900-byte publish would be metered as
2 messages.
Prices are based on the number of messages published to
AWS IoT (Publishing Cost), and the number of messages
delivered by AWS IoT to devices or applications (Delivery Cost).
