Influencers have become a critical part of
the consumer journey.
It’s important to know how to
incorporate them in the
blueprint of your brand.
There are 3Types
of Influencers:

 Micro-influencers - This is the largest group of influencers.
Although they have a modest amount of followers, they’re very
important because of their hyper-engaged followers.
 Macro-influencers - With a million+ followers, they are strongly
connected within an industry - travel, business, fashion. Although their
engagement rate is lower than micro-influencers, macro’s can reach up to
10 times more people.
 Mega-influencers - Social media celebrities or celebrities with a
social media account, these influencers have millions of followers, and a
very wide reach, but less engagement.
Influencers are the fastest growing
customer acquisition method –
surpassing search, paid
and email marketing.

Influencers can be critical to a
successful customer journey…
(Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action)
Awareness – Uses storytelling to introduce new products and
feature capabilities to followers.
Interest - Provides interesting, educational and valuable content;
answers common questions about products and services.
Desire - Offers promotions exclusively for the influencers’ followers or
subscribers on social media. Provides reviews & testimonials.
Action - Directs customers to correct paths & channels to complete
purchases or evaluate options (as measured in downloads, trials,
demonstrations, inquiries, purchases, etc.).
In 2018, video will become more
vital than ever.

as effective in driving
sales as text based ads,
