It defines each theme, with location focusing on where things are located either specifically or generally, place examining what makes one place unique from others, human-environment interaction analyzing the relationship between people and their environment and how people have changed the environment, movement addressing the patterns of movement of people, products, and ideas, and regions exploring how Earth can be divided into regions based on various characteristics.
