Harmon.ie has been recognized by Microsoft for our humanization approach to O365 as evidenced by the consecutive awards we’ve received over the past three years. Most recently, we received the 2016 office app award for harmon.ie and our newest addition, Collage.
Microsoft sees driving adoption and usage is a key component for making their solutions successful which is why the recognize us year after year for helping their clients achieve this.
Even if you are using Microsoft collaboration product ‘on-premises’ you have these problems.
They revert to what’s easy and familiar. And what’s easy and familiar is email. You spend all day in email and that’s what people use to communicate.
For example, when information in documents or email is too difficult to find, process, or share, people don’t expend the effort to do what’s right. They won’t spend the time and effort to upload documents and email to SharePoint and classify them correctly – they simply send the document attachments via email. Plain and simple. But this destroys all the investment in centralized document and records systems. The impact is that all your important information remains locked in personal mailboxes; unavailable to colleagues and permanently lost when people leave the organization. And your investment goes down the tubes.
Humain a Humain

The second way to humanize the Digital Experience is to organize the information so you can make sense of it.
SharePoint, One Drive, Skype for Business, etc. - all available in your Outlook window. Whether you are on premises or in the cloud with Office 365.
From here:
you can easily drag and drop and documents and emails.
you can share links instead of attachments
You can automatically capture important emails for records management
Plus, when SharePoint document you can reach out to a colleague using Skype for Business, by simply right clicking on the mouse to raise a conversation with the person who last modified the document.
You can do all this, right from your comfort zone – your Outlook window.
But harmon.ie does much more.
With “Collage Inside™’, when you view an email message, you automatically see all the Office 365 documents and emails related to topics covered in that email message – right in Outlook. In the same harmon.ie window your workers already love.
In this way, harmon.ie (further) humanizes Office 365 and SharePoint by presenting information the way your brain works – not by app, but by interesting topic – customer, supplier, partner, project, product, service, etc. In this way, harmon.ie overcomes the loss of productivity when you can’t find and use the information you need – by presenting it to you, the way your brain thinks.
You are most certainly using apps beyond Office 365 in your business.
harmon.ie humanizes the Digital Experience by showing all notifications from all your apps, not just those from Office 365. Finally, you see all the information you need to do your job, in one place, email, arranged by topic. So you can focus on customers, project, products, and so on without having to toggle from app to app.
And you don’t have to install any new software, do any new training, or integrate apps or services. It’s all part of your existing harmon.ie product; the one you already own/buy today.
You progress at your own pace. Start today by humanizing the Office 365 experience by dragging and dropping documents to SharePoint. And progress to full “Topic Computing.”
By humanizing the Digital Experience, harmon.ie enables you to get productivity out of all your apps, so your business initiatives are successful.
harmon.ie also runs as an Outlook Web app, within Outlook on any device that runs Outlook. This new app recently won a “Best App Award” from Microsoft at the recent Ignite conference.
It enables you to stay in email, while helping you organize information, like prompting you for required metadata when uploading a document or email.
Like the other harmon.ie apps, harmon.ie for OWA harmon.ie enables your organization to get the value out of your Microsoft investment – from whatever device they use. Mobile devices, Mac, browser, PC, you name it.
Business users are increasingly on the go, so harmon.ie delivers the full Office 365/SharePoint experience on all mobile operating systems. Business users can continue to collaborate using SharePoint even when they are on the road.
Additionally, harmon.ie partners with the leading MDM vendors (Mobile Device Management) to deliver a secure on-line and off-line experience. So you can use the harmon.ie app within the secured container of MobileIron, Airwatch, Good Technology, Citrix or IBM. Documents can be accessed on-line or off-line. You can update metadata, edit pdf, upload photos to SharePoint using the harmon.ie app.
Key Messages: 1. Extending the harmon.ie experience to mobile devices
2. Secured Mobile access thru broad MDM Support
