This document discusses the plans for producing a magazine focused on the countryside and outdoors. It will include images of green landscapes to represent the magazine's subject matter. The text color will contrast the likely green background color. Font and cover design elements from an example magazine will also be used. Potential sources of information, images and fonts are identified. Contingency plans are outlined for safety issues that could arise during outdoor photography trips, such as getting lost, falling, trespassing or disturbing wildlife.

For my final product I am
hoping to add images of the
green landscape as a large
section of my article is about
the countryside and what it’s
like. Images similar to these
with the same color theme
will be used for my cover
photo. As my magazine is
based a lot around the
countryside and the
outdoors it would be
expected that the color
green would be a common
theme in photos. Therefor
as the background is likely
to be a green color I will
make the text a light orange
or yellow color.
I am aiming to use a
similar font to what
is used for the title
on this magazine. A
font on Photoshop
that I could use for
my magazine title is
called ‘TIMES’. I am
going to also use
the color white for
my title to make it

magazine there is a

6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Getting lost in a remote area • Try and follow the way you came from
• Ring an information centre for that area
• Go to the nearest town/village
Falling off high ground e.g hill • If hurt and unable to walk call an
ambulance (if no service try and reach a
public path)
Trespassing If you realise you have trespassed then go
back the way you came from and leave the
area.
Disturbing the wildlife/getting too close e.g
sheep or deer
Walk away from them as they may start to
get stressed. If you have to walk through a
field or near them, walk around them.
Quicksand ground Call 999 for help and don’t move around in
the mud because you will likely be making
yourself sink quicker.

Getting lost in a remote area Keep track of where you go and keep to a
public path/trail.
Falling off high ground e.g hill Look at where I’m walking and my
surroundings. Keep a fair distance from the
edge when walking and taking a photo.
Trespassing Watch out for signs that tell the public that you
shouldn’t go to an area.
Disturbing the wildlife/getting too close To look out for signs about wildlife that may be
telling the public to not go near them. Also
looking at surroundings for any wildlife
Quicksand ground It is common for there to be quicksand in
remote areas, so you need to look out for signs,
look where your walking and making sure it
looks safe and not in the middle of no where.
